Holiday rentals in Tihosuco

One of the best Airbnb experiences i ever had. David is an inspiring human being who will tell you a lot about mayan culture. They have a little place beside where they try to rise awareness for the environment. The house is simple and nothing fancy, but you will feel safe and cozy. All in all a one of those experiences where you really get out with a deeper cultural understanding. That is how Airbnb should be!

Excelente y cómodo espacio.

The day leading up to our stay was eventful- we got in an accident and spent most of the day in a police station waiting to complete a claim. When we finally made it to Casa Yaxunah, all of the stress and worries melted away. We immediately visited the cenote, which is the most magical place, and we had it to ourselves! We were so enamored with the casa, we immediately checked to see if we could stay another night-which we did. The tour guides Mr. Ignacio and grandson Victor were friendly and knowledgeable about the history and lore of Yaxunah, as only lifetime locals can be. Their pride in their home is evident and understandable. Ms Angelica was an amazing cook, and we had enough to feed us breakfast the next morning. Highly recommend her 3 course meal! The atmosphere of the jungle-like casa and back patio is unbelievable-the hosts did an impeccable job of remodeling and decorating. Thank you for an incredible honeymoon stay!

What a beautiful place! Artful in all the details. You feel like in a fairy tale! And history is all around! Also amazing juice, agua de pepino, and breakfast! Very kind hosts and everyone around. Highly recommended!

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The staff had a fire waiting for us when we arrived. The house was clean and quiet. The pool was a great feature, and my three year old had a blast. The food served was simple, tasty, and filling - the workers even brought it to our doorstep to eat. I definitely hope to stay here again and do a local tour! Thank you for hosting us 🙏

Très bon accueil et les activités que nous avons pu faire étaient très interessantes. Les rencontres avec les personnes locales ont été bien enrichissantes pour nous. Le logement était sobre mais propre. Par contre, le matin , nous n'avons pas eu d'eau chaude pour nous doucher. De plus, le soir de notre arrivée, nous n'avions rien prévu pour nous restaurer car nous pensions que dans cette communauté, il aurait été possible de manger . Or, nous nous sommes retrouvés seuls rapidement et il n'y avait rien autour pour aller faire quelques courses. Malgré cela , notre court séjour s'est bien passé et nous garderons un bon souvenir de notre passage à Yaxunah. Merci Orlando, Holga et Alvea pour votre accueil , votre plat cuit sous terre , vos tortillas , vos petits déjeuners..... eh oui, en dehors du dîner sui à été zappé, nous avons pu goûter à quelques délicieux mets mayas!

Très bel endroit isolé et calme en pleine nature, parfait pour une belle pause sur la route. Lits confortables et expérience hamac génial pour les enfants. Nous n'avions besoin que de 2 logements sur les 3 et avons même eu le luxe de pouvoir les choisir. Omar est très accueillant, les repas sont excellents et très copieux. Alvin est réactif. Je recommande.

Mi estancia en Rancho Artemis fue fenomenal, el lugar tiene un encanto favorecido por la atención de Omar y su esposa. Viví amaneceres alegres, orquestados por cantos de aves y aromas propios de una naturaleza contenta, y atardeceres en sosiego que anunciaban la apertura del telón para las resplandecientes noches de brillo espectáculo con los astros que han estado siempre acompañándonos, y anunciándose con su luz. La comida que me ofrecieron cada día fue deliciosa, fresca, natural y se percibía la calidad orgánica de su huerro propio, además de que el servicio de Omar y su esposa siempre fue puntual y amable. Cabe señalar que las porciones son generosas, al grado de que un solo pedido pudiera rendir para dos ingestas. Muchas gracias en general por disponer de este encantador lugar al cual deseo regresar pronto.
