Charming Kuskbostaden in Hajstorp at Göta Canal

Hajstorp is an idyll at Göta Kanal, about 5 km north of Töreboda. In Hajstorp there is a cafe and hostel and many life lovers are looking for a place to come during the summer months. At the southwestern end of Hajstorp lies Kanalingenjörsvillan, which was the official residence of the channel engineers between 1902 and 1977. Today, the Lahrin family lives in the villa. In a secluded part of the big garden is the little charming bush home. It is from the middle of the 19th century but has been carefully equipped with toilet and small kitchen/kitchenette.

Here you live perfectly if you want to visit the cranes at Lake Hornborgasjön, historic Varnhem or thriving Valle district. Lilla Lilleskog is also a good accommodation when you want to visit Skara Summerland 7 km away. Hiking trails and swimming lakes are within easy distance. In our own house you will find our apartment which is about 35 square meters on the ground floor. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, oven and cooking possibilities. Toilet with shower. Bedroom with 3 places in bunk bed. (Lower bed 120 x 200) Upper bed (90x200) Living room with sofa bed for two. (140x190) Travel bed. The apartment has wifi and TV included. WiFi and high-speed wired internet are available for a fee. Next to the apartment there is a laundry room with drying room. Parking next to the accommodation.

Simsjön is a scenic and peaceful spot, perfect for escaping everyday stress and spending quality time together. You can borrow your own boat to explore the pristine lake and enjoy fishing 🎣🌿

Unwind in this oasis and enjoy the silence in the middle of the forest on one of Sweden's smallest plateau mountains. Not far from the house is Kvarnstensgruvan, where you can explore the mines and eat something. There are many hiking trails and nice walking paths in the area. 8 km away is a swimming lake where you also can buy a fishing license. In winter, it is close to a large toboggan run. Electric car chargers are available. Cleaning is not included, but can be purchased for SEK 800.

On our farm, we have chickens around the corner. A kind dog who guards the grounds and loves to play with people. With a half hour drive, you have access to several different types of swimming areas and a rich outdoor life if you wish.
