Holiday rentals with a kayak in Thunder Bay, Unorganized

The place was great! Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a cozy and peaceful night with your friends/family. The window view was gorgeous. Calm waters for kayaks. All the bedrooms were great and we all had a great time!

Kelly and Jami’s place was spacious and comfortable, and our entire group was easily accommodated with room to spare. The hot tub and fire pit were perfect for cozy, memorable evenings, and the fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the baskets of throw blankets throughout the house, which made the space feel even more welcoming. Although we didn’t bring our children this time, we noticed the home was well-stocked with toys and supplies, a detail we truly appreciated as moms. We’re already looking forward to making this our spot for our annual weekend getaway. Highly recommend!

This cottage was perfect! It had the most impressive views out of anywhere we’ve stayed. The wall of windows in the living room allowed for the perfect view of the harbor. In the kitchen, there was everything we needed. Really, the whole house had everything we needed. It was a great location, easy to find (use Ross’ directions!). We loved that the house was in walking distance of several really great trails. Finally, Ross is a great host. He’s quick to respond, gave wonderful recommendations for good restaurants in Eagle Harbor and for hiking trails. And finally, we loved the art work and decorations in the house! Ross’ photography decorated many walls (he’s really good), and some included historical details on them (the little photos of ships on Lake Superior were labeled with the name of the ship and some fascinating details). We will definitely be back!

All I can say is WOW! I would not hesitate to rent this place if I were ever in the area again. The kitchen is so well stocked with anything you could possibly need and more (coffee, tea, spices, popcorn). The hosts have really gone above and beyond in providing so many little "extras" that are really appreciated. We were there for a Michigan Tech graduation and we received a very nice card, balloon and bottle of sparkling juice. Everything was super clean and tidy and communication from the hosts is top notch. Thanks for an amazing stay!

This is my 2nd time coming to Jason's place and it was amazing again! Highly recommend coming here for the views, relaxation and gorgeous home! Me and my friends had an amazing time and definitely plan on coming again! Jason was highly responsive and accommodating. We had an issue that was not the hosts' fault and they responded immediately. Place was ultra clean as well.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Hosts were so kind and accommodating to our needs. Ability to jump in the lake after sauna was an absolute treat!

This was first time using an Air BnB, and was quite impressed. Our stay went exactly how we planned it. The owner had good communication throughout the process. The driveway was even cleared of snow that day, which says a lot. The lake house was clean, well kept, and obvious that the owner put a lot of time and money into the home. (I am a residential contractor and know good work when I see it). I will almost indefinitely use this place again. Clean, well kept, and had every amenity that one could ask for in the Upper Peninsula, MIchigan. Highly recommended for future guests.

This is our second time staying here. It’s the perfect spot to use as our home base while visiting our son at Michigan Tech and exploring the beauty all around the area with the whole family. Our son appreciates that we can make him a few home cooked meals during the visit as well!!

This beachfront cottage was everything advertised and more. Comfy beds, strong hot water, really well-equipped kitchen, fire pit…and the VIEW. We went in early October and the leaves were just turning. The cottage was a perfect central spot for all of our scheduled day trips to the provincial parks and sights in the area - even close to downtown. Mike was SO kind - welcomed us warmly and gave us local insights and tips about our planned stops. He even took the time to message us and point out the northern lights on two separate nights. 1000% would come back.

I have only absolutely wonderful things to say about our stay here! The location, on the shore of Lake superior, near Mt Bohemia but also near to other attractions was fantastic. The house itself is lovely as is the sauna house. I have never stayed in an airbnb so well appointed. The decor was lovely, nice bedding, games, books, etc. The kitchen was better stocked with pans etc than my own. It was perfect for many lovely family meals. We had an incredible stay! I hope we will come back many times in the future! Thank you!

Barry and Carol are incredible hosts. The place is exactly what my dad and I needed for our yearly trip to the UP. We got a flat tire and Barry and Carol were beyond helpful. I thought it was going to ruin our trip but turned into a 30 min drive with a spare, and one of the best Pasties I’ve had which was a win. Thanks again.

Some girl friends and I had a wonderful stay here. Very beautiful place, scenery, and very peaceful. Close to Quincy’s for a place to eat, and had lots of kitchenware for cooking. Overall, we had all the essential amenities we needed and more. I recommend staying here!

We loved this home!! Enjoyed sitting down by the dock and relaxing. Home is super comfy and beds are comfortable. Many amenities in the property. Loved the peacefulness of this home and Jen was very responsive and helpful. Great communication.

We had a beautiful stay at Ny and Kristy’s place. It was perfect for myself and my two kids, and my nephew. The lake view was awesome and it was a quiet, beautiful location. We are definitely going to book again next time we come out this way! Wonderful.

Awesome place! Great blend of indoor and outdoor spaces for the family to gather. Steps from the beach, perfect for rock hunting day or night. Just a few minute drive from the town of Calumet. I would definitely stay here on my next trip to the U.P.

What a wonderful place to get away and recharge! We have 3 kids and manage a business in Traverse City. That said we are always on the go. Staying at Little Betsy really help my partner and I focus on eachother and reconnect! Even though the weather wasn’t the greatest, we had moments or clear skies and got to really enjoy the view from the cabin. We hiked Hungarian Falls which is only 30 minutes away and ate at Loading Zone ||. Food was wonderful and so where the people! 110% recommend! We are excited to make future plans to come back! Thank you for letting us stay!

The copper coast loft had everything and more for a very enjoyable weekend getaway. The host took the time to provide all the little things that you wouldn’t think to pack. Communication could not have been any better which is so crucial heading to a place mostly out of cell service.

Beautiful, peaceful cabin right on the water! Perfect for families looking to get away!

The host responded immediately to my messages and was super helpful! The place we stayed at was amazing! Nothing better than going right from the hot sauna into cold Lake Superior! We hiked to the top of Sleeping Giant only a 45 minute drive away from the cabin! We enjoyed our stay!

I stayed at Kari’s place with my husband and three kids. We all had enough place to sleep, and to spend time together. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The coffee and the basket with snacks were appreciated. The entire place was well cleaned and modern. We all enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. The kids really liked the game room.

Our group had a wonderful stay here! It was a great way to disconnect from the bustle of daily life. The lake was so peaceful and we loved playing games by lantern light in the greateoom. Rebecca was super helpful with explaining the how-tos of off grid living and it was super easy to enjoy our stay. We will definitely be coming back again in the future!

That was my first cabin experience and I want to keep going there. I don´t think I can find any other host who will be better that Alex. He treats you well and is always available with answers. I totally recommend staying on this cabin, its totally worth what you paid for it. I will definetly go back again soon. Thank you Alex for letting me stay there and enjoy the best view I can ask for.

In the words of my cabin-particular husband, This Is Right. The Burrow is perfect. It is very apparent that Don and Casey take joy in hosting and have thoughtfully designed their rental. It’s so private and feels remote (the birds you’ll hear!) but it’s just a short drive to great food and even more amazing views. Please check this one out!

What a great place, right on the lake and stocked with anything you may need. The views were beautiful and we felt right at home!
