We have a quaint, cozy&clean room, with a work in progress exterior(purchased in 2020/built in the 1950s) located 28 miles from the Copper Harbor mountain biking trails. We do not take pets at this time, severe allergies. Two restaurants are located within walking distance, Slim’s Cafe(closed Mon), and the Glacia Tavern. Enjoy a good nights rest and a tasty breakfast next door before your adventure begins. -ATV trail access across the road from our parking lot. -21 miles from the Michigan Tech

A really beautiful place to stay while visiting the north shore. Easy to find, clean, comfortable, and such a nice view from the hostel. The view of the stars at night is fantastic as well. It was pretty snowy while visiting and the driveway and parking area were plowed wonderfully. I'd stay in this cozy hostel again in a heartbeat!

The place is comfortable like it’s someone’s home, it’s got all the amenities you could ask for in a vacation rental (plus the fun extras like a rooftop deck and outdoor fireplace in common areas), and the location is unbeatable for easy access to shops, restaurants, and things to do. Always have enjoyed staying here. It's clean, affordable, and has a beautiful view. If you are sensitive to noise then bring a white noise device (or play white noise on YouTube on your phone like I do).

We had a good stay in Grand Marais in the plaid room. Minifridge is quite large. Shower temp and water pressure were great. It was nice to have the lounge to go to in the morning before my wife was awake. The blackout curtains worked well. My wife found the bed comfy but it was too soft for me. It was super windy and the building had loud strange noises. Sounded like someone was stacking metal shipping containers a few blocks away during the night. Ear plugs helped.

It was a nice stay in this place with friends and families. The place is quiet, peaceful with a beautiful lake view. We stayed for one night; cooking for dinner was convenient, all the beds were clean and comfy.

We enjoyed our stay! Amazing views of the lake, we enjoyed the sauna and the host were very responsive! The Airbnb is tucked away and sits right next to the lake! Feels very private which we enjoyed. The room was very cozy and loved that they had extra essentials (shampoo, body wash, makeup remover wipes) to use in the bathroom. Definitely will be coming back soon! Thank you!
