Historic and cozy accommodations in the heart of the Keweenaw. This was a great place to stay, cook breakfast and recuperate after long days exploring all the peninsula has to offer.

The Lighthouse in Grand Marais was wonderful. Great location and impressive architecture! View of the lake and walking distance to shops, cafes and galleries.

Fantastic host! My family and I loved the layout of the unit. The kitchen had all of the amenities of home , the fully stocked coffee bar was well appreciated :)

I highly recommend this place through Dean. Check in was very straight forward and the house was much larger than expected. Always warm and cozy! The view of the lake and mountain are absolutely breathtaking. Kitchen had all the necessary equipment for a couple nights of home cooked meals! There were a few items we needed and there was a small convenience store very close which worked out great. This house and the quick responses from dean were great!

The place is gorgeous and peaceful. Very spacious good for 8 people as described! We loved it overall!

We had a wonderful stay at Cynthia's place during our weekend in Thunder Bay. I inquired about the possibility of an early check-in months before our arrival. Understandably Cynthia could not commit to this that far in advance. However she proactively followed up closer to our check-in date and arranged a much appreciated early check-in. Accessing the home was very easy. The home itself was very clean and clutter free. It was also very warm, which was needed during a cold February in Thunder Bay. The location of the home was perfect. We were no more than a 10 minute drive from anywhere in Thunder Bay proper, and a short walk to the Fort William Gardens where we took in some Scotties Curling. Thank you Cynthia for a wonderful stay, in a wonderful city.

The home was better than the pictures/description! Beautiful home overlooking Lake Superior-with close proximity to the hiking trails of Cook County. If you are looking for a great ‘home base’ to return to after wildness exploring-this is it!

We had a wonderful stay. The end unit is great for a beautiful view! The location is amazing to Ski in/Ski out! Very cozy with the fireplace. Love the large deck. Jesse and Dean were very helpful and quick to respond with my questions. Thank you for allowing my furry kids to join us!! It was really fun!!!!

Very nice apartment. Clean and comfortable. Looks like it was recently renovated. Good view of the lake from the living room and balcony. Kitchen was supplied well. Bedding was clean and comfortable with cotton sheets. We traveled with another couple and enjoyed visiting area state parks.

The condo was beautiful and well appointed. The view was incredible.

Comfy furnishings, fully equipped kitchen and great window views of the Lake and shoreline. Loved having our own trail down to the shoreline and the rapids of the Poplar River as it emptied into Lake Superior. Very soothing to have windows open and hear the rapids below! I think everything is overpriced on the North Shore at this time of year, but by comparison this condo offered tremendous value! We will return.

Our stay here was fantastic. The unit was very clean and spacious and the furniture was very comfortable (including the bed!). We loved the big jacuzzi in the bedroom, too. The surroundings are also very beautiful and quiet, and access to the lake is just a short walk away. The hosts are very responsive too. We had some issues with the code to the door but got immediate and friendly help. Overall we could not have asked for a better stay and we genuinely would like to come back!

We loved our stay! The space worked out perfectly for our group. Everything was very comfortable and the views were amazing!

We stayed the weekend for the Spring Superior Trail Race. The accommodations were perfect for our group of 8. We tend to cook all our meals when we travel together, and the kitchen had everything we needed to do so and felt right at home. The beds and spacious rooms were comfortable for our night’s rest. The common area was roomy enough for us to gather. The deck spaces off the rooms and main living area were also a great option to enjoy morning coffee. It was nice to have a trail to explore the grounds and get down to the lake to dip our tired legs in the ice cold waters.

The condo was exactly as anticipated through online descriptions and photos. Very comfortable for our party of six. Great communication with mgmt prior to our arrival.
