Beautiful 1st Floor Gite In The Cognac Countryside

The Gites benefit from beautiful thick stone walls which help keep the rooms cool in the summer, whilst retaining the heat in the winter. The Hanger provides a great place to sit and eat anytime of the day (or just sit and relax) with that all important shade in the summer. We live in the house on the other side of the courtyard and are there to provide you with any assistance you may need with your stay, or to leave you in peace to enjoy your relaxing holiday at Les Grandes Ecures.

In the family for eight generations, this former farmhouse,located in the heart of the Saintonge, has retained its authenticity and charm. You will stay in my newly restored grandmother's former stable. Lovers of nature and tranquility, you will share our farmhouse with cats, chickens and rabbits. Games, toys, books are available. In addition to the garden, a small wood with benches and hammock. Tourist brochures. No cleaning fee but leave the accommodation clean. Thank you

Quiet house in a perfect location for visiting the area. The nearest town is Matha, it takes 10 minutes to get there by car, you'll find shops, pharmacies, doctors. The accommodation consists of a large living room on the ground floor with a well-equipped kitchen and toilet; upstairs you have 2 large bedrooms with 140 x 190 bed and a large bathroom. A beautiful terrace completes the property. Warning: steep staircase, accommodation not suitable for young children.

Pets allowed. July and August €280 per week. Other weeks €250 per week Night without breakfast €40.
