Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Thonac

This is one of those airb’n’bs one is tempted to leave no review as our stay was so enjoyable, so relaxed, the surroundings so beautiful, hosted by such a responsive and helpful host, one just wants to keep it secret, all for oneself. Enough said.

Le mot qui me vient à l esprit est tout simplement PARFAIT Nous voyageons beaucoup en Airbnb depuis 20 ans,le logement de Florence et Fred est celui qui nous a permis de nous ressourcer vraiment en quelques jours. Un vrai extérieur paisible amenagé pour la détente,une maison impécable où rien ne manque,des hôtes adorables et de bon conseil pour visiter les alentours. La situation du logement est parfaite pour visiter les principaux sites. Le seul regret que nous ayions,est de devoir partir Un grand merci Florence et Fred Nous reviendrons dès que nous le pourrons

The house is located in a secluded plot surrounded by woodland and with amazing views over the countryside. It has comfy beds, a modern kitchen with everything you need, a gas BBQ, a huge deck with outdoor seating and of course the lovely heated swimming pool. It is truly peaceful yet within an easy drive of Montignac with its supermarkets and riverside eateries. Saint Amand de Coly is a great base for exploring the Dordogne by car, with lots to see, visit and do within just half an hour’s drive and more further afield. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this super property.

We hebben een heerlijke ontspannen tijd gehad. Een heerlijk huis en geweldig zwembad. Lekker rustig, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Patrick heeft ons geweldig geholpen toen we pech hadden met de auto. Echt mensen waar je op kunt bouwen. We komen heel graag terug.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable chez Mia. Le logement était très propre et fidèle à la description. Le cadre est apaisant et permet une totale déconnexion. Mia est une hôte très réactive. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The gite was very nicely renovated and a perfect layout for our family. The outdoor space was gorgeous and peaceful. The hosts were so warm and welcoming, and gave us great local recommendations. We loved exploring the area including the charming village two minutes down the road. We would have loved to spend more time here and hope to return someday!

This Airbnb is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The cottage is beautifully decorated , very romantic, with everything you could possibly want. The garden is also very pretty. Although it's only a 2 minute walk to a bakery, small supermarket and quite a few restaurants, it is in a quiet location. There is also a farmer's market on Monday mornings. We just loved everything. Chantal was extremely helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to see. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much Chantal for sharing your gorgeous cottage.

Habituée du service Airbnb, Sandrine est l’une des meilleures hôtes que j’ai pu connaître ! Le logement est juste parfait et va au delà de la description photo. Sandrine est douce, réactive et veille à notre confort et que notre installation se passe de la meilleure des manière. Et que dire du gîte ? Une pure merveille! Si vous cherchez de l’authenticité avec une touche de modernité : le gîte de Malivert est fait pour vous ! On s’y sent comme chez soi, l’adaptation se fait très rapidement. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine c’était bien agréable. Merci à Sandrine pour cette merveilleuse expérience ! Je reviendrai pour passer un week end « off » 😍 🌸

Nous avons passé un super week end dans le logement de David ! Très mignon avec les pierres apparentes Tout était parfait, propre, linge de lit et de toilette impeccable 👌🏻 David très réactif et de bon conseil sur les activités qu’il y a à faire dans le coin ! Nous recommandons ! 😊

notre séjour à été très agréable. l appartement est fidèle à la description. nous avons profité du jardin et du fait être dans le vieux Terrasson. petit bijoux ou nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the apartment and its terraced garden. The view from the terrace is a pleasant one overlooking rooftops and towards a hill. It was nice to meet Ralf on arrival who showed us around, explained how the apartment worked and had time to have a chat - so much nicer than arriving to a lockbox. This is a new listing so I think almost everything is brand new - which was a plus. The beds were firm and to our liking. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cooking utensils - which is great as I like to cook. There is a nice dining table and chairs on the terrace as well as other outdoor furniture. The apartment is really close to the historic centre of Sarlat - probably a five minute walk. Also close by is a bakery and it is only a few minutes walk to the supermarket if you don’t want to drive to the bigger supermarkets on the outskirts of the town. The property has a locked gated entry with parking just to the side of the apartment.

Très agréable appartement, bien placé, bien équipé, calme et environnement attrayant. Parfait pour se ballader à pieds et à vélo avec nombreux itinéraires attractifs de tous niveaux. Hôtes très sympa et attentionnés.

Excellent séjour chez Agathe dans un petit havre de paix en pleine nature, dépaysant et reposant. N'hésitez pas à profiter du bain nordique et sauna chauffés au feu de bois, une très belle expérience malgré le mauvais temps !! Nous recommandons vivement ce logement.

l'appartement est magnifique, le bâtiment de style médiéval m'a enchanté, proche de tout, de merveilleux restaurants aux alentours, la cathédrale en face est tout simplement magnifique. Je le recommande vraiment et je reviendrai un jour

We just spent a few days at this amazing apartment in La Roque-Gageac. The place is in a building several hundreds of years old, renovated with lots of taste, beautiful and modern bathrooms, a lovely courtyard with tables and chairs to relax in, comfortable beds. Adrien and Marion are a wonderful couple that welcomed us warmly. Our children loved their gentle dog, Indi - we loved the restaurant next door. The perfect place for a glass of wine and a taste of their remarkable food! Right in the center of la Roque-Gageac, loads of things to do such as hikes, castle visits, going to markets, cooking class, biking and canoeing (what we couldn’t do due to poor weather conditions). I highly recommend staying here! All the best to Adrien and Marion!

Our stay in Eric’s house was perfect. Stepping out into the heart of the old town was a wonderful experience every time. The location could not be more central to restaurants shops and bars. We will certainly stay again.

We had a great week staying in Laurence & JP’s house. It was in a beautiful location, very quiet and relaxing. The house was very old and characterful but at the same had everything we needed. The surroundings were beautiful and although the weather wasn’t the best there were some amazing places to visit and the local food markets were amazing. Laurence & JP were really friendly and it was great to meet them. I would definitely recommend a stay here. We are hoping to return.

We loved our stay so much and look forward to returning. The house and extensive grounds are quite beautiful and very peaceful. Perfect in every way. Diana and her husband were perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome.

Idéal pour visiter les beaux sites du Périgord Noir. Mariette et Jacques sont des amours , ont le sens de l'accueil ce qui est rare de nos jours ! Tout est parfait: le cadre, la maison typique de caractère. Bien équipée, plateau d'accueil, bonne literie une cheminée magnifique très agréable le soir ! Nous recommandons 100% pour ceux qui veulent passer de bonnes vacances simples et vraies. Mention spéciale pour l'accueil de nos 2 chiens. Nous reviendrons l'année prochaine car nous n'avons pas eu le temps de visiter à fond les alentours tellement riches en patrimoine. Merci encore

Excellent séjour à la Trappezienne. Maison conforme aux photos. Maison très propre et grand confort avec une salle de bain par chambre. Beaucoup d'espace pour une grande famille. Accueil chaleureux et très efficace par Laure. Réponse rapide à toutes nos demandes par Laure et Vincent. Emplacement idéal pour profiter de Sarlat et de la Dordogne. On rêve d'y retourner pour profiter de la piscine. Seul bémol sur l'équipement de la cuisine qui pourrait être plus fourni, (assiettes couverts, verres, casseroles et poêles).

Serge’s place is amazing. We spent a lovely 10 days there in May and it was exactly what we were looking for. It’s walking distance into the village which has everything you need, and the place itself is clean, well appointed and in a beautiful setting with its own lake. Serge was so responsive and kind to us during the stay too - he went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!

Nous n’avons pas eu la chance de rencontrer Éric en personne, mais la communication a été excellente : fluide, claire, et il s’est montré très disponible et à l’écoute. La maison est parfaitement équipée, avec de beaux volumes intérieurs, confortables et décorés avec goût. L’extérieur est tout aussi agréable, avec une grande piscine et une jolie terrasse ombragée près de la cuisine, idéale pour des déjeuners en plein air. Tout pour passer un excellent séjour en famille ! Merci encore, Éric.
