This is a really nice ocean beach. This is a town beach of Orleans, not to be confused with Nauset Light Beach which is a National Seashore Beach in Eastham.
Ocean side beach, cold in spring warmer in fall, look for seals, great for walking at high or low tide
Looking to off road with your jeep or surf the waves? This is the beach for you. This 10-mile stretch of sand in Orleans features protected areas for swimming and boogie boarding, along with off-road trails and designated sections for surfing. The waves are top-notch, and there are often seal sightings (as well as the occasional shark sightings). Nauset also features a gazebo that hosts free outdoor concerts in July and August. 16 mins away

This is a big beach with soft sand, and a nice dune behind it. There are lifeguards here during the day (at least on weekends), and there are restrooms, changing rooms, and food trucks. The parking is a bit expensive ($30), and the nearby lot fills early. Great surfing and body boarding with the big waves. Lots of seals which can mean sharks but don't be concerned till the - lifeguards put up flags for shark warnings
