You can enjoy a lovely breakfast at their restaurant and go for a walk in the gardens while reading and learning more about the history of the language of the Afrikaaner.

The views from the Language Monument are spectacular: on a beautiful summers day one can see Table Mountain. The restaurant's menu is a hidden jewel because it is good value for money and makes traditional tasty South African meals. I've tasted all their mains on their menu and would definitely recommend going there. Walking on wheelchair - friendly paths and/ or hiking up Paarl Granite Rock is an extra bonus and ease to do - I did it with my flip flops once.

A good place to learn about the origin of Afrikaans. Also, visit the museum in town. Great place for sightseeing and a picnic.
