South Bank is a cultural and entertainment area located on the Brisbane River. You'll find plenty of great restaurants, bars, QPAC, as well as lagoon/beach.

Expo 88 put Brisbane in the spotlight and showcased to the world what an amazing city we have and ever since Southbank has continued to flourish and shine. The parkland runs along side our river, the one and only Brisbane River. It features an awesome public swimming pool with sandy beaches, easy walks with mostly flat pathways, children's activity park, epicurious gardens as well as bougainvillea lined arcades and rainforests. BBQ's to cook up your own picnic feast, restaurants, cafes, street markets ( on specific days) and entertainment and so much more. A great place to visit day or night.
