Amazing botanical garden of ELTE University. Must visit, you can have picnic, relax, learn a lot about nature. And the palm house is amazing.

Take a fresh breath in the heart of the eighth district! The Budapest Botanical Garden (or ELTE Botanical Garden) is Hungary's first botanical garden, which since 2006 has been the special educational unit of Eötvös Loránd University Budapest VIII. is located in Józsefváros, 25, Illés utca. Perhaps the garden's main landmark is the country's first and only Victoria house, but its pride includes the oldest trees in the garden, such as the ferns over 150 years old, or its collection of cactus showing orchids and hundreds of species, as well as the Australian House and other interesting things. Out of about eight thousand species of plants found in the garden, the plants of the domestic flora are protected by 150 species. Lastly, you can also buy plants in its own garden shop and the visitor's ticket are really cheap!
