When I want to relax on a quiet, unpopulated beach I head down Ridge Road to Cedar Point Park which is a county park on the south side of the Pentwater channel about 1.7 miles down the road. It provides a beautiful view of the large sweep from around that area near the south point to Ludington. This is a great way to experience Lake Michigan in a very natural environment away from the crowds.

Cedar Point County Park is located on Ridge Rd, on the border of Golden and Pentwater Townships. The park is approximately 2.5 acres and provides steps to access 133 feet of sandy Lake Michigan beach.
