One of our favorite beaches in Sea Ranch. I believe it’s about 1/4 mile walk from the parking lot located right off hwy 1. If you stay on the trail that parallels the beach, there is also a cute little playground north of shell beach, on the right (opposite the beach), called One Eye Jacks Playground. Its a little ways back from the trail so you may not see it if you’re not looking for it.

Sea stacks and tidepools; logs to sit on; ramp to walk small boats to the ocean. The easiest beach to walk onto.

Take the hike along the bluff and the wooden walkway towards Goat Rock Beach. Its safe and easy to navigate unless there's been a lot of rain and then it can be harder in the areas not on the wooden walk.

Two nice bay beaches (Shell 1 and Shell 2). Short hike from the parking lot to Shell 1, then about same distance to Shell 2. You can also continue hiking towards Hearts Desire Beach from Shell 2.
