Lovely 12th century church and fascinating graveyard in Walthamstow Village. Opposite is the old Tudor house and if you turn right out of the graveyard you will pass pretty cottages and the Vestry House Museum. Walk down St Mary’s Path to get to Walthamstow Central station or wander around the village to Orford Road interesting shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.

At the centre of Walthamstow village is St. Mary’s Church. The church has been much altered and extended over the years since the first permanent flint building in the 12th century.
