A must for every one who loves opera! Unfortunately closed becaue of renovation until Oct 2015. Therefore - at Schillertheater instead.

The Berlin State Opera is a German opera company housed in the Staatsoper Unter den Linden - also known as Lindenopera, which also hosts the Staatskapelle Berlin orchestra. It was originally the court opera, during Prussian times, then known as Königliches Opernhaus (Royal Opera House).
