Fine dining? Lemaire. I worked in the Jefferson hotel "back in the day" when it first reopened. Built in 1895, it is a gorgeous grand hotel. Lemaire is pricey, but I tend to go there for Happy Hour. We grab an appetizer or a burger in the bar (it's less fancy than the restaurant), and just soak in the hotel itself. You won't be disappointed.

Bar/Restro in fancy hotel in town: The Jefferson. Outdoor patio to watch the city, great daily happy hour specials. Feel fancy without spending a lot.
