Gateway to the Major Oak, the new visitor centre marks the start of a variety of trails through the ancient forest. It is also opposite the Sherwood Forest Art and Craft Centre and a short walk from the permanent traditional fun fair. Head into Edwinstowe town and you will pass St Mary's Church where Robin and Marion were married according to legend, and you will also find many great places to eat and drink. An amazing day out for everyone! Parking £4 a day free entry! park and climbing frame area, facilities cafe and shops, trails and a magical forest full of Robin Hood secrets.
