This tiny little Kebab shop offers a very very tasty durum. Durum is a kebab wrapped in flat bread. Here the speciality is Adana kebab, which is a spicy southern Turkish recipe of ground meat mixed with spices and chilli. My mouth is watering just thinking about it... Ask for a double (doobleh) as you get two pieces of meat instead of one. This is the best balance of meat vs. bread. Other options are available including a vegetarian kebab although I've never tried it. Try and see the pictures of the owner inside and order when he is making the kebabs. That is when they are at the best! Something he does is better, maybe it's just his timing but there is a noticeable difference!

Dürümzade is one of the restaurants on the Istanbul They specialize in dürüm, a type of sandwich made by rolling flatbread around döner kebab fillings. It is just a few minutes’ walk from İstiklâl street.
