If you’re really up for adventure, and are willing to head out early, Fish Lake is an hour or so walk on what is the start of the Tuck&Robin hike (that’s an overnight hike). After following Highway 903 almost all the way toward salmon le sac, you’ll find a road up a hill on your right. take that and follow it to the trailhead, easily a 20+minute drive up an old logging road. you’ll pass by some cabins that are totally off the grid, and over a creek (this is not a drive for a compact car). At the end of the road is the trailhead. You will need a state park pass - you can purchase one at the trailhead but will need cash to do so. Follow the signs to fish lake, a great spot for a picnic.
