A 30 minute drive away you can find The Big Fiddle. It’s the largest in the world standing at about 18.2 metres tall (60 feet). The fiddle is a tribute to the traditions of the large Celtic population in the province. The fiddle (aka Fidheal Mhor a’ Ceildeh, or the Big Fiddle of the Ceilidh) welcomes all visitors arriving from cruise ships to the city and to all travelers who make their way down to the waterfront pier.
