lovely lush park and kids park and outdoor basketball area and outdoor gym machines along the river thames.
Small but very cosy park by Thames river. A lot of activities for children and an outdoor gym too. Great place for walks.
Redeveloped riverside area including gardens, play area, 5-a-side football/basketball and a cafe.
a must-see! The beautiful Thames Barrier Park, opened in 2001, was London's first new park for half a century. It has lush sunken gardens of waggly hedges and offers perhaps the best views from land of the fabulously sculptural Thames Barrier. The park features a children's play area, a fountain plaza where kids can splash about and a five-aside football/basketball court. The Thames Barrier Information and Learning Centre lies at the opposite end of the barrier on the south side of the river. Ideal for long walks or picnics, a nice jog or quiet relaxation in solitude or in a group. It is adjacent to Pontoon Dock DLR station. | Opening Hours: Monday to Sunday, 7am to 9.15pm.
