They've got a zoo, walking trails, a dog park, a little duck pond, pavilions with grills, a public pool, and basketball courts. It can get a little crowded when the weather is nice, but it's overall a very nice place to relax in the shade.

We have a zoo! Stroll through this animal rehabilitation zoo to enjoy bears, otters and other animal rescues. Birchmore trail provides an outdoor exploration.

Our very own zoo showcasing the wildlife of North Georgia. Fun shaded place to go and see the Black Bear family, Otters, Deer, Owls, Eagles, and the Snake House. Fun for all ages. Approx 3 miles from house. The park also has the best dog park in Athens and a beautiful place to walk around the fountain and lake. Also has a playground for the littles as well as ducks to feed.
