Tips from locals
Legendary boutique theater. One screen and right across from Seattle's own Caffe Vita!
Pro-tip: Best theatre in town. Huge screen, widest seat aisles, coolest A/C, cheapest matinees, best popcorn and soda fountain, always newest films and midnight screenings of old classics.
This is a vintage 1920's theater immaculately restored. Often runs the latest big movies. State of the art picture and sound. Enormous leg room space. Could walk there but an easy drive. Street parking.

“Perhaps the place where craft coffee really took off in Los Angeles back in 2007, this Silver Lake coffee bar still has excellent coffee brewed by the cup or via espresso. And that patio is the perfect snapshot of Eastside culture. ”

“Love this crusty little movie theater showing first run indie films. Vermont is also a great street for strolling, shopping, drinking and eating.”

“The silver lake reservoir has a nice community pedestrian path, if you walk the whole way around it’s about 2.6 miles. You can’t go inside the reseguir though...unfortunately it’s just for looking, not for swimming.”
