Mandarin Café is a legendary establishment in Hue, where travellers can relax and enjoy cheap Vietnamese and western fare as well as refreshing fruit shakes and local coffee. Founded in 1990 by Mr. Cu, a local photographer, this restaurant is fitted with numerous portraits of the local lifestyle and iconic attractions, all of which are for sale. Food-wise, we highly recommend its signature fried noodle (with beef, pork, shrimp or vegetables) banh khoai with seafood (Vietnamese crepe), and banana pancake.
