Great fresh local cuisine, located in the quaint community of Quidi Vidi Village, just 5 minutes away from the heart of downtown St. John’s! The Mallard Cottage, an 18th Century Irish-Newfoundland vernacular style cottage, is recognized as a National Historic Site of Canada, as being one of the oldest wooden buildings in North America.

Its one of my favourite places to eat, great atmosphere, great setting and spectacular views in Quidi Vidi harbour, which is less than a minutes walk away. Sunday brunch is the best (if your lucky to get a reservation) listening to live music!
