The linear reserve along the River Torrens is a beautiful place to walk or cycle and enjoy nature. There are river red gums and several small caves, and the area of the park within the City of Tea Tree Gully has many historic sites, with recognised buildings still standing from the 1840's. One of them is the Dinham brother’s Old Mill, built in 1843-1845 from local stone. The mill was originally used to grind wheat into flour. Later it was converted for grape crushing.
