The speed skating oval also hosts a trail head at the top of the hill which takes you through fields above Lakefield. Highly recommend for off leash dog runs.

This is a truly unique skating experience. Check out this outdoor 400-meter track. You can bring your own skates and skate for free. On the weekends, skate rentals are available. Located about 15 minutes away from the cottage. Visit Ontario Speed Skating Oval to reserve your tickets.
