A city of jazz since 1948, Nice hosts about thirty concerts in July, which take place in the city centre on the penthouses of the Albert 1er garden and the Théâtre de Verdure, while Jazz Off is held in all the districts. The new generation is honoured with the springboard that rewards one artist or group each year.
