Congress Springs was one of the greatest health resorts of its day, with bath houses that offered medicinal value. It capitalized on the healing powers of the water by also selling it as tonic in baths and bottles. We have our own Saratoga Mineral spring at the Estate coming out of every Tap. Per documentation, this is the best water there is and has a therapeutic value. Our technology provides high pressure spring water out of every Tap and is purified down to 20 Micron; the thickness of human hair is about 100 Micron. All the minerals remain intact in this process. Off course, no chlorine or Fluoride in this water! Recently, prevention magazine published 13 everyday ways to avoid cancer. The number one recommendation was to treat city water before drinking. As stated in the article, “you will reduce your exposure to known or suspected carcinogens and hormone-disrupting chemicals”. According to Dr. Oz, “you should shower and especially bathe with toxin–free H2O. Chlorine in tap water dries out the hair (as well as the skin). The problem isn’t the straight chlorine but what it turns into- stronger toxins called Trichloromethanes. This toxin can irritate the skin and eyes, but may also cause other health problems in higher concentrations.” Most of our guests have commented that after a few weeks of showers here they noticed that their skin is softer and their hair feels better- some believed that they had more hair density than before. As far as the water’s intrinsic drinking values: A Bit of documented history- Saratoga water was first used by Indians as cure for many different ailments. In 1865, the name of this city was changed to Saratoga due to discovery that the mineral content of Congress Spring, Saratoga water was similar to that of Saratoga Springs, New York. In 1902 ST Louis World Fair, Saratoga, CA water took first prize, ahead of all the completion, including European Water. Furthermore, they concluded that it has highly medicinal attributes. It was used for treatment of Anemia, Dyspepsia, Liver, and Kidney troubles, Irritability of the bladder, Rheumatism, Gout and Cutaneous infections. It belongs to the Alkalo-chalybeate class of water, which is believed to be most valuable for drinking proposes.
