Beautiful quiet and secluded beach a five minute walk from the cottage. This was once Agatha Christie's favourite bathing spot.

A quiet alternative to the main beach in Torquay, Beacon Cove is much quieter and dog friendly beach. 5 minute walk from Harbour Cottage.

The closest beach is the petite and pebbly Beacon Cove, just a 5 minute walk away. This small but sheltered sun-trap of a cove is perfect for a picnic, paddle or just watching the local wildlife, or even the view across Torbay to Brixham. This cove was historically the "Ladies' Bathing Beach", decorously separated from the "Gentlemen's Bathing Beach" just along the coast path at Peaked Tor Cove. This was a favourite bathing spot for Agatha Christie.
