The best spot to take ‘aerial’ pictures from Echternach and its surroundings. In the early morning you can see the sun rise and watch the intense fog slowly disappear. Good pictures are usually guaranteed. The night view is nice too and there’s very rarely people here in the evenings.

If you would like to take a hike that is less steep than the one leading you to the "Irreler Wasserfälle", I highly recommend a tour starting at Felsenweiher in Ernzen an including the "Liboriuskapelle" from which you have a wonderful view of Echternach.

Start : bei der Unterkunft. Eine wunderschöne Wanderung durch den Wald führt zu dieser kleinen Kapelle . Tolle Aussicht auf Echternach .Die Glocken dieser kleinen Kapelle läuten für den Frieden der Welt ! Das ist ein schöner Gedanke.
