I love the food in the Palmerston. It's a high-end gastro pub that excels at fine dining. My dad had 'the best steak in the world' here. Nice brunch at weekends.

Okay. This is more a restaurant than a pub really but done in a pub kind of a way. If you are looking for a really nice meal and are happy to pay good money for it then check this place out.

The Palmerston has more of a relaxed restaurant feel, particularly in the room to the back of the bar. The ambitious menu changes regularly to reflect the seasons and there is an equally well-selected wine list. The set lunch menu is good value on weekdays and is a great way to sample the food on offer.
