Hip darkly lit bar with yummy cocktails and Americana fare. Theres a little patio at the front to smoke and people watch. The pork belly pops and diablo cocktail are my favorites there!

Nice bar with friendly service. Many people in the movie industry go there but a relaxing bar with friendly people. Pizza by the slice is next door which is always a plus.

If you dont' want to wait for a table at Masa, I suggest Two Boots Pizza. It is a quick order place, but the pizza is delicious. Originally based in Brooklyn -- new to LA.

Los Angeles makes New York style pizza. New Yorkers will be disappointed, but the rest are in bliss. Order a slice or two at the counter or get a pie delivered.

This pizza joint offers New Orleans-style Italian with specialty toppings like Andouille sausage. Expect a spicier pizza. Next door to the Echo, so go to both, or just order from the bar- delivered.

BOA Steakhouse

$$$· 9200 Sunset Boulevard·Map·Hours·Website·

Great steak restaurant in the same building as SoHo House, a popular private club. Celebrity sightings here.

The best steakhouse in Los Angeles and a great restaurant to see the stars in their natural habitat. You will often see BOA on TMZ as they catch stars entering or leaving the establishment.

On the border of Beverly Hills, below the ultra-exclusive SOHO House perched high above sits ultra-glamorous BOA. The steaks are consistently fantastic and the atmosphere can't be topped.

Although my favorite here is the coffee (try the "Flat White" which is not on the menu), they also have a great restaurant and wine bar attached. Strong wifi in their cafe too.

The cornerstone and most famous version of Culver City's gastropubs, Akasha is the place to meet well-heeled women at the bar or dine with the director you want for your next picture.

A little on the fancier side, Akasha serves all locally grown organic food and is VERY yummy. They also have a cute coffee/bakery section where you can camp out and get some work done.
