My alma mater...huge campus in Westwood. Take Sunset going west to Hilgard, and make a left on Hilgard. You are there. They have sports and entertainment offered as well.

I went to school here. Just go see it and come back and tell me it's pretty.

They have a great Olympic sized public swimming pool open to the public. During the Summer, they have outdoor movies. Check out their website: Santa Monica College, Santa Monica.

Local Jr. College, has a nice running track and pool open to public during certain hours.

Nice community college, have a walk through it if you like. Locals enjoy running or walking the track and stadium stairs.

The campus of Occidental College is a beautiful spot to take a walk, picnic, or hike to the top of the hill for 360 views of the area.

As a former professor at Occidental, I can say first hand the campus is amazing, tranquil, great for walks. They have a lovely bookstore, cafe, the students are warm, friendly... near buses etc.

Barack Obama, Ben Affleck are two previous students at this liberal arts college.

Fantastic views of Pasadena from an architecturally interesting spot. Also, a lot of nature up here. We saw a family of deer last time we came.
