Trains from Hackney Central/Hackney Downs (the two are connected) to everywhere (including direct to stratford, camden, richmond, Islington...

12 minutes away. Overground Line running East to West. It connects you with the Victoria line in Highbury and Islington and goes to Stratford.

Fulham Broadway underground station is about 7-8 minutes walk. From there it takes about 20 minutes to get to the heart of Central London.

My local tube station on the district line with trains going to either Wimbledon or to the city

This is your nearest station. It's on the district line and will take you directly to Wimbledon in 6 stops. Alternatively you can take the train to Earls Court and change.

All shops are here. Tube station on Jubilee Line. Park on station roof, with water streams & green grass, is lovely for lunch picnics and photos. In the summer there are arts performances on weekends.

Westferry DLR or a bus ride takes you to canary wharf in 10 mins. Canary wharf jubilee line helps reach many prime spots i in London easily.

Jubilee Line, 24hrs on Friday and Saturday. Its possible to walk but owing to construction work, I'd recommend taking the DLR to Poplar or rent a Santander Cylce hire!

I recommend guests buy Oyster Cards when they arrive as they are (I think) the cheapest way to get around on the tubes and buses.

The Jubilee line runs through this station and is our favourite tube line for connecting south to north. Fast and frequent trains.

This is our local tube station. It's served with trains to and from Central London until 1.30am every night (12.30am Sundays).

Slightly further that Highbury & Islington but if you don't mind a slightly longer walk then you can get the Piccadilly Line from here.

Two train stops from Tulse Hill. Visit the high street ( Lordship Lane) on a Saturday when its buzzy. Boutiques, small market on North Cross Rd, vintage shops and lots of good cafes and restaurants!

Lordship Lane is great if you want to sample the bars, restaurants and pubs of one of south london's up and coming areas. Only a 15 minute bus ride from our house on the 176 or 197.

Along Lordship Lane you will find many cafes, pubs and restaurants if you do not wish to stay in central London and want to experience local London life.
