Quite a big hill to clime to get to the house so maybe consider getting off the tube at Kentish Town and transferring to 214 bus as this terminates near by our house and then the walk is flat.

Cut down travel times by jumping on any bus from the other side of the road ( except 42) to the tube which is Zone 1. Tube travel is faster than bus. Watch out Northern line splits coming south.

Nearest tube station, on the Northern and Bakerloo lines. It's generally easier to get the bus into central London, though if you need to connect to go North, this is useful.
