Ok, I own it so i'm biased, but Shoreditch Grind has the best coffee and is one of the coolest scenes in Shoreditch! Also a cocktail bar at night and a recording studio upstairs!

Grab a seat at the window where you can watch the citizens of Silicon Roundabout buzz in and out of Old Street Roundabout. Coffee/sandwiches by day and cocktails are served in the evening.

Boutique deli - excellent coffee (Monmouth Coffee Company), cakes, sandwiches, salads, meat and cheese counter etc. Eat in or take away. Extremely popular with locals - a must try!

Perfect for a coffee, breakfast or light lunch . Delicious pastries, salads and sandwiches available to take-away, eat inside or at road side tables to sit and watch life go by. Our favourite!

Great Deli 3 mins from the flat on foot (turn right out of the building) - has everything you can need, including great bread and probably the best coffee in London. (It's not easy on the pocket mind)

This stems from the famous Daylesford Organic Farm in the Cotswolds of England. Fresh organic food restaurant as well as take away options, coffee and groceries.

An organic cafe offering delicious & healthy food direct from their farm. On the lower ground they also have shop that sells nice amenities for the home and great cook books too!

Top quality organic ingredients makes the food here utterly delicious but healthy and ethical too! It really is difficult to match the quality and feels like home cooked food. The restaurant in ope... read more

Charming French cafe/ deli in the heart of Broadway Market, great for a light lunch.

Lovely French deli (go there whilst you can, the owner might be deported soon as he's French!), awesome cheese. In fact, it's all lovely. Make sure you bring a credit card though.

Beautiful place to sit outside for breakfast and watch the world go by, (lunch is also incredible - try the salads and chai latte tea!)

Great for brunch, lunch and dinner (Wednesday through Sunday). Open kitchen, outdoor space and contemporary menu with a focus on fresh local ingredients.

The London Particular (named after the term Dickens used to describe the fogs of Victorian London) is a little gem in an unexpected location. The standard of food is excellent - so is the coffee.

Always busy coffee place right in the heart of Angel. Have a walk and discover some nice independent shops (vintage, decoration, food)

CoffeeWorks uses excellent quality coffee and ingredients for their baked goods, the baristas are friendly and make a mean flat white. Their iced lattes and home made marshmallows can't be beaten.

Best and relaxed breakfast place, seating outside too. Full spread breakfasts, English, Mediterranean. A favourite with coffee aficionados, this tiny cafe has something of a cult following

Relaxed cafe and place to sit outside for breakfast or lunch, with a fantastic lengthy menu and good value! People travel the distance to get here, yet it's a moments walk from the flat.

Lovely coffee place. Coffee, Tea, Chocolate is really good, as well as their home made patisserie. Every month they have a new art exhibition on the walls. Charming little coffee place!

Tina’s puts you instantly at ease: large communal table in the middle (sofas too) populated with help-yourself jars of Marmite and and jam, and locals helping each other with the Guardian crossword.

If you're into the whole 3rd wave coffee groove, this coffee shop is worth the 10 minute walk, a great little neighbourhood spot to collect your thoughts.

The yummiest breakfast in the neighbourhood. Sun yourself whilst you munch on your brunch. Nuff said:).

Cafe for breakfast onwards - there is another smaller version closer to the house - it is opposite the Bush theatre. They are a local business so let's support them!
