A beautiful spot! The house is cozy and better than the photos. We had some issues with getting the hot tub to fill up and get hot. But other than that, the house was great and fully equipped! Please note- the tunnel is approx $21 each way so plan your trips to Akureryi and such accordingly! The only restaurant I think nearby is at the golf course. But the house is a great spot for dining in.

Wij hebben een hele fijne vakantie gehad mede dankzij deze mooie accommodatie. Het is een beetje afgelegen t.o.v. Akureyri; wat ook duidelijk op de kaart te zien is. Maar met een huurauto ben je binnen 10 minuten in het centrum én kun je alle kanten op. Wij zouden deze fijne plek zeker aanraden aan anderen!

What a wonderful place to stay. This is a beautiful home in an amazing place. We had beautiful sunsets over the fjord. And everything worked wonderfully in your home.

The house is a fabulous base from which to explore Akureyri and the local area. You need a car. The outlook over Akureyi is absolutely stunning and we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights from there.

We loved our two nights at Svartaborg overlooking the valley. It was an ideal, peaceful location 20 minutes outside Húsavík and a great base to visit the area. Wonderful setup, very comfortable with great amenities - and the geothermal hotpot was a great was to end the day. I would happily visit again.

Wonderful house, great location in Akureyri, just a few min to walk anywhere in town. Perfectly clean, very well planned so we were 8 adults/teens sleeping comfortable. Highly recommend.

By far our favorite stay in Iceland. We booked 5 nights and didn’t want to leave. The setting is peaceful, and the sunsets are beautiful. The home is well laid out and appointed. Kitchen is well stocked and clean. The beds were comfortable and black out curtains helped. The adjustable mattress in the primary bedroom felt just like home. First Air B&B we have stayed in with enough towels of appropriate size. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching birds. Even saw a gorgeous owl. It was too windy for the sauna or fireplace. We did run out of hot water on the 3rd shower every night. We did shower late so it might be that the hot water turns off at a certain time. Not a big deal. I would highly recommend this rental. In fact I have already recommended it to a friend coming to Iceland next year.

la llegada fue fácil con las indicaciones, la casa,muy bonita, muy acogedora, fuimos 10 y estábamos genial, la zona de hidromasaje exterior un acierto cuando volvíamos por la tarde, además tuvimos un tiempo genial, frío pero con sol, y esta muy cerca de Husavik, donde vimos las ballenas, solo falto ver la autora arriba, pero no daban para verla en los días que estuvimos. La ducha grande, y las camas muy cómodas y la casa genial para nuestra familia. Un acierto elegirla

la llegada fue fácil con las indicaciones, la casa,muy bonita, muy acogedora, fuimos 10 y estábamos genial, la zona de hidromasaje exterior un acierto cuando volvíamos por la tarde, además tuvimos un tiempo genial, frío pero con sol, y esta muy cerca de Husavik, donde vimos las ballenas, solo falto ver la autora arriba, pero no daban para verla en los días que estuvimos. La ducha grande, y las camas muy cómodas y la casa genial para nuestra familia. Un acierto elegirla

Highly recommend!! Absolutely beautiful house and location. Haraldur is an incredibly friendly and gracious host - we felt very welcomed. We loved the geothermal pool and natural hot spring. Would love to come back!

Une des meilleures guesthouse de notre voyage. Accueil chaleureux avec visite de la maison par les hôtes. La guesthouse est grande et agréable avec des chambres thématiques décorées avec soin. Les lits sont très grands et très confortables. La cuisine est bien équipée et donne sur une terrasse avec jacuzzi. Il y a deux frigos pour les voyageurs avec des caisses de rangement en fonction des chambres. On se sent comme à la maison dans cette guesthouse 🙂
