The house was in a great location and had access to a lot of attractions in either direction. In particular, Alejandro himself was the highlight of the stay—he helped us with the real local travel advice, weather advice (we were there during a storm!), recommendations, was attentive and prompt for answering questions, and a cool guy overall. Beautiful area, great central location, and a great experience!

Our stay in Grenivik was wonderful. The space was beautiful, clean, and easy to find. The house overlooks a gorgeous, quiet lake with a wide view of the surrounding mountains. The laundry was a nice touch as well! We would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend this AirBnb to anyone considering passing through Grenivik!

Had an Amazing time away with the help of a great stay and location.

Unexpectedly large house, four bedrooms are very suitable for our group of eight. A comfortable big hot tub, my friends took a bath and chatted in it. The kitchen has a lot of kitchenware, but unfortunately we were tired from the journey and didn't show our cooking skills in it! Each bedroom has the characteristics of the owner of the room, which is very interesting. Clean towels and beds, let us not bear to dirty any of them.

Kristin was responsive. The location was great but due to the unseasonably warm temperatures there were many flying insects even though we’re told they were harmless they swarmed us making it difficult to stay there. Kristin allowed us to cancel our reservation.

We loved absolutely everything about our stay, from the cleanliness of the home to the farm and the lovely people that run it. Great location, beautiful views, don't hesitate to stay here if planning on exploring this part of the incredible country.

We loved our 3 nights in the cabin. It had everything we needed to cook breakfast and a couple dinners. Beautiful views, close to the tunnel, and very comfortable place to stay. Great host. We enjoyed chatting with him before we left. Perfect place to stay in Akureryi.

We had a lovely stay at Guðrún's little cottage. we stayed during a June snow/wind storm and the property stayed nice and warm, and very cozy. lovely views towards Akureyri, and very close to Forest Lagoon. Blackout blinds made it easy to sleep with the midnight sun. overall, a lovely experience and very good value for money.

The cottage is a real beauty. Located in a small forest its a perfect, cozy retreat. It has everything needed, we felt at home. Away from busy roads, but still conveniently located to visit Akuteyri, Husavik or the Myvatn-Region. Would absolutely book again if we hopefully come back to that region somewhere in the future.

Heiddis ist eine außergewöhnlich sympathische, warmherzige und fröhliche Gastgeberin! Wir haben uns willkommen gefühlt und den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Aussicht auf die schneebedeckten Berge, die blühenden Wiesen und den Sonnenuntergang am Fjord direkt vor der Haustür ist einfach fantastisch. Die Lage ist hervorragend- sowohl nach Akureyri, als auch zum Wandern in der Natur ist es nicht weit. Die Wohnung ist mit allem, was man braucht, gut ausgestattet. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft zu 100 %! Liebe Heiddis, wir danken dir und deiner Familie und deinem süßen kuscheligen Hund für diese wundervolle Zeit! Wir kommen gerne wieder ❤️

Great place to stay. Beatiful view. The host was also great very good comminications.

A beautiful spot! The house is cozy and better than the photos. We had some issues with getting the hot tub to fill up and get hot. But other than that, the house was great and fully equipped! Please note- the tunnel is approx $21 each way so plan your trips to Akureryi and such accordingly! The only restaurant I think nearby is at the golf course. But the house is a great spot for dining in.

the hot tub was awesome, he sightseeing spots were close by and we even found an awesome hike 1 km down the road. small place but plenty for us 2 for a week.
