We had an absolutely beautiful stay at Tenzin’s place in Thimphu, Bhutan! The home was so cozy, full of positive vibes and peaceful energy, with stunning views all around. It’s located conveniently close to the heart of Thimphu town, and just about an hour from Paro—perfect for exploring both areas. The amenities were just what we needed for a comfortable stay, and what really stood out was the hospitality. Tenzin was a wonderful host, and a special shoutout to Kencho, the building manager, who went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. From local tips to thoughtful support, he truly made our trip even more memorable. Highly recommend this stay for anyone visiting Bhutan—you’ll feel right at home!

We had come across this homestay on Airbnb and decided to center our Bhutan itinerary with this stay and O boy we were not disappointed, infact we were glad to do it. Right from the beginning Tenzing (Ama's son) has been a saver for us, helping us with transportation, guide and permits. He made sure that we were safe and comfortable throughout our trip. Coming to the property, we are happy that we decided to book this. Ama and her family is one of the sweetest people that we have come across. They had provided us with some of the authentic food made with fresh veggies and cereals cultivated at their backyard. Ima datshi, Kewa datshi and carrot soup has been our favorite. Do not miss the sunrise walk across the backyard fields and water stream during your stay. Kardin chela Ama and Tenzing!
