Castle holiday rentals in Thiérache

We hadden een heerlijk verblijf in deze rustieke boerderij met 6 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. Perfect om tot rust te komen in het groen. Ook een hele goede uitvalsbasis voor daguitstapjes naar de kust. Wij hebben genoten!

het kasteel is prachtig en Yury is een fantastische host. We hebben onze bruiloft gevierd in het kasteel en de tuin en het was geweldig. De tuin en kamers zijn ruim en mooi. Door de vele kamers konden al onze vrienden en familie allemaal in het kasteel verblijven. yury heeft ons enorm veel geholpen, Van extra stoelen en tafels regelen, tot flexibel zijn met het in en uitcheken. enorm bedankt voor dit onvergetelijke weekend, wij komen zeker nog eens terug!

Top gastvrouw, zeer vriendelijk! Aangenaam verrast van de prachtige streek en alles zeer goed beriekbaar. Enorm veel voorzieningen van bbq tot gezelschapspelen, pingpongtafel, trampoline, tafelvoetbal,... Voor alle leeftijden geweldige locatie.

Wir waren 6 Tage als Familie in dieser ungewöhnlichen Location. Der Ort an sich hat schon einen Wow-Effekt, ist sehr privat gelegen und während unseres Urlaubs erschienen mir die anderen Gäste rundrum eher "unsichtbar". Den Pool konnten wir ungestört nutzen und auch sonst ist das Gelände weitläufig. Die Wohnung insgesamt hat uns gut gefallen. Die Ausstattung der Küche war gut, so dass uns nichts gefehlt hat. Insgesamt fanden wir das Mobiliar teilweise unnötig und einige Räume waren einfach zu überladen, die großen Schränke klauen den kleinen Räumen viel Platz, leider waren sie aber mit Wäsche voll, so dass wir unsere Koffer nicht richtig auspacken konnten. Für warmes Wasser benötigt man in den oberen Etagen etwas Geduld, aber darüber muss man sich in historischen Gebäuden bewusst sein. Marie war vor, während und nach unserer Reise stets erreichbar. Auch wenn wir uns nicht persönlich begegnet sind, verlief unser Aufenthalt sehr harmonisch.

Nous avons passé un super weekend entre amis dans ce logement très atypique !

Zeer stijlvolle, schitterende locatie, pure rust midden de natuur, onvervalste authentieke topklasse.

Een echt ruim huis met grote tuin, terras, grote eetkamer, fijne slaapkamers en goed uitgeruste keuken voor een groep van 18 personen. Wij hebben er een fantastisch lang weekend van mogen genieten.

Superbe logement plein de charme. Les chambres sont spacieuses et pratiques. La cuisine qui est récente est très agréable avec sa grande baie vitrée sur le jardin. Et le jardin en bordure de canal est très agréable. Nous recommandons chaudement !

The property was absolutly wonderful, the photos don’t do it justice! I particularly appreciated the garden with its beautiful array of trees and patches of forest. The estate was so vast I dont think we made it to the edge. The house was extremly private and out of sight of any neighbours. The house itself was spacious and comfortable, so were the beds. I was working online and the internet connection was good, even with multiple connections, with a very nice dedicated workspace. The kitchen had every appliance imaginable, with enough crockery for a banquet! While I was there the trees were ripe with fruit and we were treated to pears, apples, rasberries, blackberries, stawberries, grapes and more. The chickens generously provided us with fresh eggs every morning and the peacocks were not only beautiful to watch but also friendly. Not to talk about the wild forna including squirels, pheasents, woodpekers and other small birds… It was a pleasure meeting Philippe who not was an excellent host; showing us around the property and being helpful with our questions, but also an excellent cook, perparing traditional french food for us per our request. He was fun to be around. Overall a great experience, we are already planning when we can visit again!

Merci beaucoup pour ce magnifique logement, il est bien situé dans un hameau calme, il est très bien aménagé et très joli. La douche est vraiment impressionnante. La maison de Sonia et Alexandre est merveilleuse - Belle bâtisse nichée dans un jardin très bien entretenu - tres belle décoration ramenée des nombreux voyages de cette famille d’aventuriers Nos enfants ont aimé s’occuper des animaux de la propriété (chats, poules et chien - tous très gentils) Les petits déjeuners, déjeuners et dîners dans le jardin sont particulièrement agréables et permettent d’apprécier la vue sur la vallée Les équipements sont très appréciables (barbecue, table de ping pong, mobilier de jardin entre autre) Parmi les points forts : la salle de bain exceptionnelle installée dans la verrière - la cuisine bien équipée et fonctionnelle, très lumineuse La maison était très propre à notre arrivée Nous recommandons sans hésitations

We had such a lovely long weekend strolling the grounds and observing the peacock flock. The house itself was well-appointed and made us feel right at home. We met Mr Charles, the landlord, who was gracious enough to share some of the history of the chateau and that of the generations that inhabited it. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return, as well as recommend it to friends. Truly a special place. There is also a larger apartment available if you are traveling with more guests. Thank you again, Mr. Charles!

We voelden ons direct thuis in het appartement. Brandschoon, met een ruime badkamer, een fijne sofa, ruime eettafel en voldoende kookgerei en serviesgoed om comfortabel te verblijven. De communicatie vooraf was meer dan vriendelijk en erg attent, we voelden ons echt welkom. De omgeving van zuidelijk Wallonië was voor ons de echte verrassing: prachtige natuur vlakbij, en heel veel avontuurlijke en rustige wandelroutes voor het uitkiezen. Bedankt voor de ontvangst en hopelijk tot ziens!

This property was amazing and so very French in design and furnishing. it was easy to get into Paris and to Disneyland. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. The grounds are delightful and the little village picturesque. The place suited all of us from the 7 year old to the 70 year olds. We would revisit.

Wir fahren immer über Silvester mit mehreren Familien in den Urlaub. Die Unterkunft in Charbogne war ein Highlight. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der große Wohn-Speiseraum mit Kamin war unser Treffpunkt. Die Zimmer waren alle sehr schön, sauber und passend eingerichtet. In den Betten haben wir sehr gut geschlafen. Das Schwimmbad war besonders für die Kinder toll. Die Küche war ausreichend groß und gut ausgestattet. Wir kommen sicher wieder und bedanken uns ganz herzlich auch für die Ausflugstipps und das nette Geschenk am letzten Abend. Danke
