Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Thesprotia

Beautiful home in a quiet area with parking. Fit our family of 5 perfectly and had everything we needed for a delightful stay. We were very warmly welcomed and would happily return again. Thank you!!

The place exceeded our expectations, it’s even better than the photos. Very clean, just a 10minute walk to the old town, and you can literally dive into the sea right across the street. There are also plenty of parking spots, as well as food and coffee nearby, which was super convenient.

Great Great View and location . Just stay here and go to the hundreds of beaches around Sivota. Just avoid the beach at the port . if you r looking for a relaxing place and quite village , Plataria is one of the best .

We had a wonderful stay. We have two one and a half year old babies everything is suitable (gate, bed, chair, toys) The kitchen is really very equipped! Georges and Rania are very welcoming, kind and responsive. The sea is at the end of the garden a restaurant not too far from the accommodation as well as the fishing port. I still recommend a vehicle for other trips. Thanks again to Rania and Georges for their hospitality.

We were warmly welcomed by Alex and a richly filled welcome basket including olive oil and wine (both very fine) from their own cultivation awaited us. The accommodation directly on the sandy beach was simply fantastic with beautiful sunsets. The sea is very shallow and ideal for small children. All windows had mosquito protection, which was worth its weight in gold. With the canoes available, you can paddle wonderfully on the sea. Alex and Hara's accommodation can only be highly recommended.

Danae is a wonderful host. The property is clean, as described, responses are all timely and she takes time to make some great local recommendations too!

Beautiful renovated very old house in the heart of a small hillside village. Authentic, not touristy, and that's what we were looking for. Our hosts were lovely at the time of our arrival, and always available and responsive afterwards. Sparkling clean! Only access by car is complicated, but our hosts showed us where to park, and even helped with our suitcases!

As a group of 6 girls, we absolutely loved Achilles’s place and think it was the best choice for my bachelorette party! The house and the surroundings are better than the pictures. It feels like a dream winding down on the terrace after a long day. And having the room upstairs and the terrace, kitchen and living room downstairs was ideal as you could enjoy everything without waking up the others. Moreover, the location is close enough to Corfu town to enjoy nights out, but perfect for peaceful, slow mornings in a more authentic set up. The hosts were very responsive and have arranged for transport, car and everything else we needed. Thank you and hopefully we will be back!

We had such a wonderful week in Corfu! The accommodation is so spacious and the pool is a massive plus! The late night swim was one of our favourite parts of the trip with such great scenic views including the airport runway. A car is probably recommended if you want to get around the island on your own accord, but the busses are frequent and easy to use if you don’t mind walking up/down the hills which is what we did. There are coaches to further beaches which don’t come up on google maps which A tip: save the chapel by the gates as a location on google maps to direct taxis in the evening. Effy is such a wonderful host and so accommodating, she really doesn’t need to go the extra mile as she does but it’s greatly appreciated. She insisted on picking us up and taking us to the airport, and to the bus stops too if she was around. She’s so helpful with recommendations too of where to go as we didn’t really have a plan. We’d definitely recommend staying here to friends.

Our stay was awesome. Very beautiful island with many gorgeous beaches to visit, great restaurants and nice little villages all around. Evangeline’s great because since she was born and grew up in Paxos she had valuable information and insights for everything. We would love to visit again. PS. So many people just stop by and take pictures of really the most beautiful house (read up on the Maestro series) in the whole island.

I am originally from Corfu but I've been living abroad for most of my life. I contemplated writing this review in Greek, but the reality is that Corfiots already know what a gem of a flat this is. So I am writing this in English to help anyone else who wants to visit. This is the most amazing AirBnB you will find in Corfu old town, period. If you've watched the Durrell tv series and wondered how it would feel to live in that era, but with modern amenities and comfort, look no further. Maria and Francesca's place is the most warm, authentic, well-kept, 200 year old apartment I have ever been to. St. Spiridon, Old and New Fortress, Liston square, Faliraki beach, Yacht Club, Kapodistrias' home, the Sunrise and Sunset are all there for you to enjoy from your countless windows or the one-of-a-kind Belvedere outpost, accessible by an interior staircase. Now, if you happen to spend Greek Easter here, you are in for a treat. You can see the fireworks, marching bands etc. right in front of you!

Due to smart and amazingly kind host we felt at home from the very first moment. Beautiful and spacious apartment full of island charm. Has everything you will need for a pleasant stay. Birds and crickets, flowers and olive trees, peace and quiet. We wished we could have stayed longer. P.s. don’t miss the restaurant nearby, it’s one of the best this island has.

The house was great in a great location next to everything on foot! Spotless and all the amenities a family needs! Both Christina on the phone and Irene in person were very helpful, friendly and willing to help with everything! With Irene, whom we met in person, I felt as if I had known her for years! It was great! wow! we are so excited how beautiful it was at Alexandros! everything spotless, super kitchen with everything you need, clean bed, very comfortable, super quiet location and very private, it was ideal for our honeymoon and it was even cleaned every day when we were not there. This was a dream vacation, ever since my daughter and I watched the BBC series about the Durrells in Corfu. The Villa was gorgeous, huge and very comfortable for our family of 4. Having the 2.5 bathrooms was great. The views were insane, pictures cannot do it justice. I recommend renting an automatic car. The climb to the house is very steep and you may need to back up and pull over to let other cars by. Hans was an amazing host, extremely responsive, full of recommendations, and after we arrived, sent over a delivery of snacks and drinks after letting us check in early. We ordered pastries from the local bakery for delivery, loved the local Nissaki beach for morning swims, ate at the White House, Igera, Vitamins, took a private boat to Paxos and the blue caves, visited Kassiopi, Agni, and Barbati beaches. Book sun chairs at the Crystal Seaside experience. Hans helped my husband rent a bike, and he rode all over. Don't miss the Sea Calls Shop for souvenirs! Book this Villa!

Eleni was an incredible host who provided us with helpful information, excellent recommendations and plenty of flexibility throughout our entire trip. We stayed for three weeks in her beautiful villa and it could not have been more perfect, the amenities alongside Eleni’s wonderful hosting allowed us to experience an unforgettable stay and memories that will last a lifetime!

The house, grounds & garden, parking, pool are all spectacular. The beds are extremely comfortable. The air conditioning is cold. Bathrooms like the rest of the house are large which is sometimes hard to find in Greece. It is not beachfront to me as there is a road & hotel which separates the house from the beach. The restaurant next to the house was our favorite place to eat. Bus stop is conveniently right in front of the house. Unless you are used to driving in Greece you do not want to drive. $30 euro taxi drive to old town Corfu is what we paid. Vicky the house manager greeted us upon arrival & we had some wine & food we greatly appreciated.

What an amazing place and wonderful hosts. The house and setting are perfect. Very peaceful and just like the pictures. George and Demitra were incredibly welcoming and made you feel instantly at home. The kitchen was generously stocked, with George leaving a bottle of local wine on more than one occasion! We were on the lookout for a place right by the sea for a month long stay - to be able to wake up and go for a morning swim, walk along the beach, or take a kayak from the doorstep was pretty special. The sunsets are beautiful, and then you get to watch the fireflies in the garden. The area still feels untouched by mass tourism, and is surrounded by olive tree forests and rolling hills - perfect for exploring by bike (provided). There’s a couple of very good beach tavernas close by, and you have the option to paddle there if you wish! We were very sad to leave, but feel completely rejuvenated. Thank you George & Demitra.

Our stay here was perfect, the house it’s beautiful and spacious - and has everything you need. The outside space was perfect, we couldn’t have asked for more.

Charming quiet house, large garden and very convenient terrace with direct access to the living room and kitchen. Well-equipped both inside and out, nothing is missing, not even a nice BBQ, which is very useful in these latitudes. We traveled with a child under 2 years old, everything was ready for him too including a crib and a room well suited to a child of this age. Communication with our hosts was perfect and we want to thank them for their great availability. Finally, everything is within walking distance (shopping, beaches, restaurants, aperitifs, boat tours and rentals, etc.) but it would be a shame to deprive yourself of a means of transport that you can rent on site. Indeed, the area is very beautiful and allows for beautifully varied visits. (Ioánnina and its old town, the Acherontas canyon, and beautiful archaeological sites incredibly well preserved). Don't overlook a small seaside cafe in Igoumenitsa. Thanks for everything!!

Amazing place with a beautiful view and a delicious taverna. For an additional fee, you can get a Greek breakfast. Apartment was clean and well-equipped. We loved our stay and recommend it.
