Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Texada Island

We loved this paradise of a house and setting! The Bidet was so much fun!! We’ll be back!

We had a great time at Scott's place. It was well equipped, comfortable and felt very homely and welcoming. Scott was very friendly and responded immediately to any queries. He gave us helpful tips for local walks and wildlife viewing. We particularly loved watching hummingbirds just outside the lounge windows. We would recommend Karmix Cottage to anyone wanting a get away from it all break, but within easy reach of beaches, waterfalls and forests.

We had a very enjoyable two night start at Haining’s place. Beautiful location, very peaceful, idyllic. A highlight was waking up to see deer in the garden. Great value for money. Excellent host, helpful communication. We would definitely stay again, and would recommend to friends/family.

My partner and our children reserved this lovely home for a retirement celebration with our in laws. The home was spacious for all six of us and our family dog and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The home is nestled in a beautiful mountainous area with lovely views from all the front windows. It's rustic yet modernized layout and structure made it the perfect place to cozy up together or spread out and enjoy some quiet time separately. It's location is close enough to many trails and beach access points to get out and explore. The hot tub, sauna and cold plunge were definitely a highlight for our Spring trip and did not disappoint.

Amazing stay at Lauren’s home! The ocean view was stunning and the house was perfect for 4 adults and our toddler. Lauren was so accommodating and had thought of everything to make our stay so comfortable, including providing a crib and toys for our little one. The coffee, teas and snacks were a great bonus. We loved our stay and will return again!

I recently stayed at Ashley's place, and it was an exceptional experience! The property was exactly as described (and even better in person). It was spotless, cozy, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in the décor and amenities made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect, especially the view was amazing. I loved the closed huge backyard too because of my dog. Ashley was incredibly welcoming and providing clear communications. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. We definitely gonna stay at this place again. This time Summer.

The place was beautiful inside and extremely clean. The place had outdoor seating which we enjoyed. AC was perfect for the hot weather we experienced. It had all the amenities needed. Close to beaches and restaurants and winery. Perfect stay.

The attention to detail made this interior space feel welcoming and inviting from the moment I arrived. I can't think of a thing that could have made it nicer. The views were everchanging with a variety of weather patterns during my stay. The ocean and sky were so interesting, even dramatic at times. From the windows I saw eagles, seals and the herring season that came and went, turning the water a tropical blue. So funny to see, when we know the ocean is freezing this time of year. Fishing boats were there a few days, taking their catch. Then walking in the neighbourhood, even the occasional deer to surprise you. So many paths to the beach to walk along the rocky shore when the tide is out. Daytrips are easy to go to everything, from this location. Just a short drive to the main highway and you can see so many interesting things available on central Vancouver Island. I imagine in the summer it would be even lovelier. The hosts were so friendly and helpful.

My two friends and I stayed here for the week we had school and it was probably one of the best places we have stayed. Very spacious, comfy beds, couch was big and nice to relax on after a long day at school. Kitchen had all the supplies needed. Nice to have the option for laundry as well. Very bright with all the windows. Short walk to the beach. Good storage for our paddle boards. Very responsive and friendly hosts. Quiet neighborhood but close enough to everything in town. We will be back here for sure!

Kelly’s place is exactly as pictured and with unexpected personal touches! Exceptionally clean, choice of pillow firmness, comfy beds and linens. Tasteful in decor. The view is exceptional and the proximity to a grocery store and local shops and a farmers market are walkable. Parking was never an issue. Kelly checked in with us regularly to make sure we had everything and that everything was good. Her response time was very quick! I will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Randy and Barb’s condo. The condo was very clean, tasteful and roomy. It was equipped with everything we needed!! The resort had many desirable amenities including exercise room, pool and a good restaurant and lounge. We communicated with Randy a few times and he was always responsive, prompt and helpful. It was very apparent that the quality of our stay was very important to Randy and Barb. We really appreciated that. We highly recommend this listing!!

This place is a great find! Absolutely stunning view from the living room and bedroom of peaceful ocean rolling in and out, amazing sunset and overall the complex has lots to do. Restaurant on site is a great bonus! Hosts very responsive and flexible, we will definitely book here again! 2 points to be aware of: 1) There is a Personal Intake form that must be completed above and beyond Airbnb's info (click to show more 2x in the House Rules section), we were taken by surprise by this. 2) There is a suite attached to this rental unit that is also rented out. When occupied it can greatly affect the serenity of the environment as you can hear every word spoken. This was unexpected. Again, a couple unexpected notes but we would definitely book here again!

John’s place was fantastic. Easy check-in and quick to answer any questions. My wife and I really appreciated the size of the condo and all the amenities. The fireplaces, jetted tub, comfortable king bed, well equipped kitchen and beautiful patio. We took advantage of the on-site amenities including the gym, pool, outdoor hot tub, trails and restaurant. Our stay was awesome and John made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this gem of a condo in beautiful Nanoose Bay.

Friendly and attentive hosts, freshly baked goods and breakfast provided which is a lovely touch. Thank you very much.

The house is in a quiet area with a clear view of the sea. I feel lucky to have stayed here.

A sharp modern glass tree house with a butterfly roof surrounded by trees - that makes for a comfortable stay & peaceful positive energy. We very much enjoyed the home and setting. Walls of glass floor to ceiling make it bright & a sense of light energy too. The landscaping is well done so that is nice on the eyes also. On our trip there happened to councide with very early morning & all day heavy machinery construction right next door, even on the Easter holiday. However that does not change my 5 star review. The place itself was excellent. The construction will be temporary + not always heavy machinery. And soon it will end. I just mention this so renters can get more certainty on what will be happening during the days they book. I highly recommend this rental it's a perfect place for 2 people and has a 2nd bed open to the main area that extra family could sleep in. We used that bed in the main room as a cozy place to read. Great master BR giant windows out to trees.

Amazing stay. Big luxurious villa with all the amenities available. We were a big group of 9 and had a great time. Highly recommend. Special kudos to the airbnb team who were available 24*7 for any inquiries we had. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for our group. The beds and mattresses were incredibly comfortable, which made for a restful stay. Overall, everything was great. There are just a couple of suggestions for improvement: the dishes weren’t as clean as expected, as the dishwasher doesn’t seem to work properly. It would also be great to add a fire pit with enough seating for everyone and a light near the hot tub to make it more usable at night.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, well stocked, in a nice area, and a great host. We also loved the pool and hot tub. Zero complaints.

We had high hopes and they were far exceeded when we saw the property. Literally jaw dropping when we opened the door and saw the elegance and beauty of the house behind it. From the wild deer in the green beyond the fence to the pool and garden to the design and presentation of the house from basement level to top level it was nothing short of breathtaking. The views are incredible and there wasn’t a thing lacking in the house that we needed. Meghan was always responsive if we needed her and personable. The street was private and neighbours friendly also. Really could not rate our stay highly enough. You certainly get what you pay for and much much more.
