Simple cabin located 1100 meters above sea level in Valdres. It's at the top of the Kjølastølen hamlet and is perfect for one or two people who want a place to base for mountain activities. Come for a unique stay in an old, historic farmhouse! This quaint old farm dates back to at least 1021, when King Olaf Haraldsson (St Olaf) came here and ordered a stave church to be built. The old church yard is still here. The farm buildings are mainly from the period 1650-1850, and several are protected. There are cows, sheep, horses and cats on the farm. Systugun Garmo may look like a museum, but is also a working farm.

Simple standard with wood burning stove, gas stove, bio toilet suitable for anyone who wants to live a little easy. Newly restored log house. About 5 km from Lom towards Bøverdalen. We have tried to make the cottage as a place of recreation with respect for the old building as it was originally. A new bathroom has been built. Quiet area and nice starting point for hikes in Jotunheimen summer and winter.

It was so wonderful to stay here that we booked it for our way back while coming back towards Bergen, at the end of our Norwegian roadtrip. Its a really special house with pristine rooms, linens, towels and a spotless kitchen. You can find everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. The house is a dream. Erle is a wonderful and communicative host. Do yourself a favor and book this spot. A word of caution though, you might never want to leave. :)

Awesome! I would’ve given 7 stars if that was possible. The cabin is so cozy that we felt right at home. The kitchen is very well equipped and the beds are comfy. The region offers hiking trips for different training levels and the scenery is stunning. We would come back anytime!

Incredibly great, new cabin, in quiet lovely surroundings! The cabin is of tip-top standard, has everything you need, whether you want to play games, watch movies, light the fireplace or enjoy good food at the great dining table. Even a sauna!! Hans is a fantastic host, responds quickly and pleasantly to all questions and is extremely helpful! recommend the gem of a cabin! In short, a fantastic cabin with a great host! Recommended!

It was really a great experience on our last night in lovely Norway. We agreed that we could have easily spent many more days in Rannei's lovely home than the one night we had. Lots of space, so cozy, such a well-equipped kitchen; nothing was missing, and in addition, a great view. Thanks to Rannei and her husband for their kindness.
