Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Terenure, Dublin

My mom, husband, and I really enjoyed our stay at Susan’s home! We were looking for a private place close to our family’s home in Terenure and this was perfect. The home was extremely clean and as described in the listing. We were treated to an entire basket and fridge full of our favorite Irish foods upon check-in, which was extremely generous and plenty to get us started for the week! The water pressure/temperature in the downstairs shower was a bit finicky and we struggled to keep the water in the upstairs shower hot for more than a few minutes. However, water pressure and temperature always seem to be tricky in this area of Dublin in our experience. Definitely recommend Susan’s place and would definitely book again!

Great place to stay right outside of Dublin that has parking available. Easy to get into the city via the bus station. The airbnb was a great and the host was very responsive.

I stayed at Cherry and Billy’s home for two nights and had a lovely experience. I originally planned to check in just after lunch, but due to an unexpected change, I had to arrive much later. Billy was incredibly understanding and even waited for me at the bus stop just two minutes from their home, such a kind and thoughtful gesture! The house itself is in perfect condition. The bedroom is cozy, comfortable, and instantly makes you feel at home. The bathroom was spotless, and the shower was absolutely fantastic. Everything was just right. Cherry and Billy are a wonderful couple, fun to chat with, warm, and very welcoming. I would happily recommend their place to anyone, and I’d definitely stay with them again if I’m back in the area. Thank you both for such a great stay!

Our family of eight truly enjoyed Franks home. It had everything we needed. It’s beautiful and very roomy. The weather was nice enough to enjoy the outdoor patio. Quiet and friendly neighborhood. It was our first time to Dublin and the home’s proximity to the bus stops made for an easy trip into the city. The town of Terenure was nice and had enough local shops and restaurants for nights we didn’t want to head into the city.

Diarmuid is an amazing host - communication was quick, friendly, and helpful. The apartment was easy to find and all instructions were easy and simple to follow. We had an amazing stay, the apartment was clean, modern and had everything you need for a trip away. The location of the apartment is very central to the city centre and everything in walking distance. Thanks again for making our experience unforgettable.

Spacious apartment in a cool old building near the heart of Dublin. Very lively neighbourhood; surrounded by tons of pubs, cafes, etc. Alex was a great host. Would definitely stay there again!

Roman was a great host and super helpful and communicative. His place was exactly like the photos and made our stay very comfortable.

Mark was a responsive and flexible host. He provided information prior to arrival, on how to access property, on public transport, and with recommendations on places to eat & drink. The photos didn’t do the property justice. It was well decorated, cosy but spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location is in a quiet residential area away from the hustle and bustle, it is a short walk to the bus / tram stops for the city. I would definitely recommend this property, and will visit again.

Es un lugar muy pequeño como se ve en fotos pero tiene lo necesario para pasar unos noches. Está muy bien ubicado, se llega a pie a casi todos lados. Al aeropuerto te deja un bus en la puerta. Joan se nosotros muy amable, hubo un inconveniente con el sofá antes de ingresar pero nos avisó. Recomendable.

Merci beaucoup à Christian pour son accueil, sa réactivité et sa gentillesse! Le Airbnb était super: très cosy, bien rangé, nécessaire pour le matin. Vraiment top. Le seul bémol, c’est que le logement en TRANSPORT est assez loin du centre de Dublin. Apres c’est le pays pour le coup et non Christian, mais les bus sont sont assez difficiles d’accès, souvent en retard etc. Compter minimum 45mn pour aller dans le centre. Sinon en voiture c’est littéralement 25mn donc aucun soucis. ☺️ Merci encore de nous avoir accueilli c’était super et reposant! N’hésitez pas vraiment nous recommandons les yeux fermés !!!!

Liam's place was great - it is in a perfect spot in Dublin. It is walkable to many of the key sites you may want to visit (especially Guinness), close to easy public transportation and is also just far enough away to allow some quiet in the evenings (which was important for our family trip). It is a nice amount of space for the city, fitting in the key elements needed (and has a washer / dryer that actually dries the clothes), while also being clean / tidy. There is also a great pub right at the end of the street - with some very friendly staff. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this place and you should have no reservations booking too. Bonus family note: there was a large concert nearby during one of our stay days, and the back bedroom area is quiet enough that our 4 yo could sleep through it all without any issue.

Eamon fue un anfitrión excepcional , se comunicaba siempre con nosotros, nos explicaba todos los detalles. Nos ha ofrecido y brindado mucha ayuda y hasta tuvo la amabilidad de buscarnos en la parada del bus. Estaba muy presente y atento a todo. El apartamento tal como se describió. La sala tenía todo lo necesario. El dormitorio pequeño pero sumamente cómoda la cama y el placard y baño completo. Pero lo más importante todo el apartamento que nos tocó impecable y sumamente acogedor , con mucho sol y claridad. Muy recomendable

El alojamiento está muy bien, tiene todo lo que se necesita para la estadía. Está un poco alejado del centro, pero la parada del bus está muy cerca y en solo 20 minutos se está en dl centro

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft von Maria und André sehr empfehlen. Die Wohnung ist gut gesichert und wir konnten die Tür anfangs nicht öffnen. André war sofort erreichbar, zuvorkommend, fürsorglich und freundlich. Alles hat sich sehr schnell geklärt, so dass wir keine Einschränkungen hatten. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit allem.

We both had a wonderful stay in Blessington as was a perfect location for us to travel to see family in Wicklow & west of lreland. Accommodation was exactly what we needed. Cathy & Riaan were perfect hosts & were on hand to meet our needs with a great welcome breakfast & fresh eggs to tie us over before our trip to supervalue shops to stock up for local amenities in Blessington main street-nearby. recommend ‘West Wicklow house’ pub for food & good atmosphere. Will definitely hope to return

I absolutely loved my stay in the den! I love the location because the little bit outside of the busy city, but also very easily walkable. The access to the bus stations are also super easy. There is a Michelin star guide restaurant right down the road a 15 minute walk from there that was incredible. And Sinead and Jane we’re super responsive and gave fantastic instructions. If I come back to Dublin, I would definitely stay there!

David's place was exactly as described. Great location in the Portobello neighbourhood and was easy to get into central Dublin. Also great transportation to other areas via the bus. David was very flexible when we had to change our booking from Sept 2024 to May 2025. He was extremely welcoming when we checked in (provided a bottle of wine!) and very responsive when we accidentally locked ourselves out on the last day of our stay!! We stayed for 6 nights and appreciated the kitchen amenities and the very comfortable bed :) We would highly recommend David's place if you are travelling to Dublin.

Wir hatten 3 schöne Tage in Seans Wohnung,es ist sehr geräumig dort (konnte sogar online Yoga machen) und es gibt ein bequemes Bett.Internet und Nefflix vorhanden. Die Lage ist perfekt für jede Unternehmung,sehr ruhig und trotzdem schnelle Verbindung in jede Richtung. Sean ist überaus bemüht zu helfen und reagiert sofort bei Problemen. Können wir sehr empfehlen. PS:Die Küche könnte etwas besser ausgestattet sein (Pfannenwender,Schneidemesser Schüssel Sieb😉)
