Cottage holiday rentals in Teno

Great accommodation, fabulous location and stunning views. This rural area is very quiet and with no light pollution clear night skies are just magical. Mostly the temperature this high up is lower than the coast but not always. The coast, which you can see from the terrace, is 20 minutes away by car. The house is modern and attention has been paid to the things that matter. A perfect base for us. The journey up from Arafo is steep for many kms and roads are narrow but often one-way. You do need google maps though – our rental car did not have a sat nav. We found the house in the dark and pouring rain. Juan was very helpful and responded very quickly. Without him we would have had real difficulties with replacing our car which had a puncture and no repair kit or locking nuts on board. Car rental company Record Go (via Opodo) was worse than useless. For organic fruit & veg: La Albahaca in Arafo and La Tajea in Mercado de Santa Cruz. For eggs: Juan’s hens! We will revisit. Loved it.

My boyfriend and I had such a lovely time staying here. The views are absolutely amazing, and the house is beautiful and rustic. The terrace is very spacious, and there is a little garden that attracts lots of little birds. The whole house is dreamy and surrounded by cute flowers and native plants. We loved using the log burner in the evenings, as it sometimes got quite chilly; this made it even more cosy and homely. Having a car is essential to stay here (and also to explore the rest of the island). There's a Lidl and Aldi nearby and plenty of great restaurants and beaches. Thank you so much for having us!

Outstanding location with absolutely mesmerising views !! Away from the cluttered cities surrounded by vineyards I would highly recommend for those seeking a getaway in Tenerife. The places has not only views to offer , fully equipped with all sorts of amenities that one would ever wish for. Ellen is a great host very responsive and helpful. I would definitely be coming back for more !!!

We had a wonderful stay at in La Florida and would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday away. The house and gardens were exactly as shown in the photos and a wonderful place to relax. We really enjoyed the wood burning hot tub, we purchased additional wood from the Repsol garage. The drive to the house was steep but very manageable for a confident driver. Initially we were given keys to only one of the apartments however as this had two single beds we requested the keys to the second place as this had a double bed and Susana was very accommodating in providing these.

The property is lovely and everything you need for relaxing getaway. We loved the outside area, Al fresco at its finest. Supermarket is situated at the bottom of the road, 5-10 minute walk. Puerto del La Cruz is only a 15 minute drive and playa El Bollullo is on 15 minute drive, bit of a walk down to the beach, but well worth it. also the restaurant at the top is lovely, with a great back drop. If you want a relaxing getaway away from the hussle and bussle, then this is the place for you. Wake up to beautiful views of Tiede and the sea. what more could you want. See you next time.

The Villa was absolutely beautiful, a pleasure to return to after a day out and perfect for 5 adults and a 2 year old. The Villa was spotless and there was plenty of linen for a two week stay. There is everything you can wish for in the Villa. There is a lovely pool on site, cold water but refreshing on a warm day. The Villa is within easy reach of two Supermarkets and shops and a five minute walk to the regular Adeje Market. An 8 minute walk will bring you to the delightful beaches of Del Duque. The host is super responsive, all in all a great place to be.

A nice house in a beautiful location, the garden, and the views of Tiede from it, are absolutely stunning. The house was clean and well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Maykel is responsive and answered any queries we had promptly. Highly recommended.

Nos sentimos como en casa, buena ubicación, zona tranquila con un guachinche cerca buenísimo. Tienes muchos senderos para hacer cerca de la casa. La casa en general estaba perfecta, muy limpia y ordenada. El jacuzzi era perfecto para relajarnos y estaba en muy buen estado. Sábanas y toallas muy limpias y las camas muy cómodas. Lo único que tienes que aparcar a varios metros de la casa porque justo en frente suele estar un coche del vecino, pero de resto todo genial. Solo tuvimos un problema con el horno que no funcionaba porque saltaban las palancas, pero ya lo comunicamos para que lo solucionen para próximas estancias. Lo que más nos gustó es que nos permitió quedarnos el último día hasta tarde porque no tenía reservas y eso es todo un detalle por parte del anfitrión que muy pocos hacen. De resto todo perfecto. Muchas gracias Aldo por tu amabilidad, sin duda volveremos a repetir. Un abrazo.

Жильё нашли довольно быстро, немного серпантина и мы на месте. Хозяева очень дружелюбные. Всё необходимое было,нас ждали даже местные фрукты и вино, солнечный дворик с лежаками беседкой и барбекю, парковка прямо во дворе, автоматические ворота, что тоже очень удобно. И конечно радовала собачка Флорв, которая всегда встречала.до трассы 3 минуты на машине.всё очень понравилось

We had a great time here! The house is very close to nearby restaurants (2-4 minute walk), pools in the sea (20 minute walk) and has a nice view of the sea. The town itself is quiet and has everything you need, the nearby market offers all necessary things. We would definitely visit again!

We wanted to disconnect from everything and that's exactly what we got here. It's such a little hidden gem, very private, the BBQ & pool areas are a touch with views looking down towards the Atlantic! Literally an 8 minute drive up through La Guancha and you are in the forest, I can recommend Casa de la Pradera easy terrain, our dogs loved it. A few hundred meters up the road and you come to Bodega Viñatigo very nice wines. The host Lara is very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely go back.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem geräumigen Ferienhaus mit drei Schlafzimmern. Es ist gut gepflegt und sauber. Im Winter braucht es warme Kleider. Marta ist eine sehr gute Gastgeberin, alles war bereit als wir ankamen. Bei Schwierigkeiten hat Sie uns sehr geholfen und war immer sehr gut erreichbar. Vielen Dank Marta. El Tanque ist eher ruhig und kein Touristenort. Das Ferienhaus ist ein idealer Ort, wenn du die touristischen Orte meiden möchtest. Trotzdem sind die nördlichen Strände und Ortschaften sowohl mit dem Auto als auch mit dem Bus gut erreichbar. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel chez Jonathan ! Los Cerrajones est une maison est extrêmement agréable, parfaitement propre et équipée, à l'intérieur (mention spéciale pour le grand confort de la literie) comme à l'extérieur, avec un patio parfait pour prendre ses repas, un énorme jardin qui donne sur la mer, pas de voisins immédiats, un environnement extraordinaire et le calme absolu à quelques minutes de marche seulement du très tranquille et superbe village d'Agulo. Point de départ idéal pour arpenter la très belle île de La Gomera. La vue, même depuis l'intérieur de la maison, est tout simplement époustouflante, encore plus belle que sur les photos. Jonathan est un hôte très agréable et attentionné, il n'a pas hésité à venir nous accueillir de nuit pour nous accompagner au cottage. Nous avons passé 5 nuits sur place et quitter cet endroit magique a été vraiment très compliqué... Merci encore pour tout, Jonathan, nous reviendrons dès que possible ! Nathalie & Sylvain

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet – viele schöne Details! 😊 Maribel war super aufmerksam und jederzeit erreichbar. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

The host Maria is great, always helpful, super friendly and sweet with our kids. We had a great stay in the house and enjoyed the view over the bay and the banana plantation. Maria also provided us with a whole load of freshly harvested bananas which tasted amazing. Totally recommended place.

Vi havde en uge i Esthers fantastisk lejlighed, hvor der var alt, vi havde behov for. Vi nød meget roen og nordkystens skønne frodighed langt fra masseturismen på sydkysten. Lejligheden er lille, men det kompenseres fuldt ud af det skønne terrasseområde med udsigt over vandet - med havemøbler, grill, liggestole og skøn atmosfære med palmetræer og hængekøje. Vi kommer gerne igen.

Olga is friendly, helpful and a very kind person! It was just perfect! The accomodation has everything you need! It was really beautiful and exactly what we searched and expected! :-) We would always recommend and will definetly come back.

Sergej hat uns persönlich begrüßt und sich sehr um unsere Zufriedenheit bemüht. Die Kommunikation mit ihm war schnell und effektiv. Das Haus ist alt und voller kleiner Details und die Küche mit allem Ausgestattet was benötigt wird. Der Garten lädt zum Verweilen ein und die Aussicht ist atemberaubend.

Die Unterkunft ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet. Bei der Ankunft wurde uns alles ausführlich und freundlich erklärt. Die Zufahrt ist etwas holprig, aber durchaus gut machbar und der Parkplatz war direkt vor der Haustür. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

We absolutely loved our stay at Jose Luis place — from the moment we arrived, it was everything we hoped for and more. Communication was super smooth and fast, and being able to check in early was such a treat after our travels. Carmen the co-host welcomed us and showed us everything. She was super friendly and her information for the area was perfect. The location is simply breathtaking — ocean views from the veranda, total peace and quiet, and the perfect spot to fully unwind. It was also a fantastic base for hiking: we did several incredible day hikes, all just a short drive away. The house itself is beautifully set up — my husband, who’s passionate about cooking, was thrilled to find such a well-equipped kitchen (plus a barbecue!). He was in heaven. And I had to bring a bit of work with me, but the strong Wi-Fi and shaded veranda made even that feel like a holiday. We truly loved every minute and it was honestly hard to leave. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

Le logement est impeccable. Vue superbe de toute les pièces. BellesTerrasses. Francisco est très sympathique et communiquant même si cela était compliqué du fait que nous ne parlons pas du tout espagnol. Bref rien a redire. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir si nous revenons à Tenerife.
