Cottage holiday rentals in Telford and Wrekin

Had a lovely stay here, a birthday weekend for my partner. Everything was perfect, from the hot tub, to the fire. The cottage was bigger than I had anticipated. The only thing I think was missing was towelled robes, as it is obviously cold when you get out of the hot tub! But this didn’t spoil our weekend. Also, if you are staying on a weekend, I can definitely recommend the Sunday lunch at Montgomery’s restaurant on site, it was 10/10. And I think it was around £25 for two courses! The beef was lovely and pink 😋 All in all, great stay, would definitely recommend!

THE MOST AMAZING GET AWAY - From start to finish not one thing to criticise. The cottage itself is beautiful. The views are outstanding and the hosts are absolutely amazing, they even went out of their way to decorate with balloons and banners also left a bottle of Prosecco for my birthday all free of charge which was a lovely surprise. We will definitely be returning - thank you for having us ❤️

A really lovely stay in such a beautiful part of england. Check in was super clear and the instructions were easy to follow which made it all easy. The location was honestly amazing with such beautiful walks nearby and situated in a lovely town with good cafes and pubs. If you want a laid back weekend or week then i highly recommend. Property was clean and well equiped - very charming. Hot tub was a personal highlight for us. Finally, the communication was fab and very friendly!! Highly recommend :)

Our second time at this lovely hideaway in the Shropshire countryside. Not disappointed as this is a lovely place and you feel at home straight away. We were both suffering from colds and Rebecca was very easy to communicate with when we needed more heating. Great place and we plan to be back again next year.

We’ve had a peaceful and happy time at Jane’s Garden Terrace. We made excellent use of the soft lush lawn to play games and relax, enjoying the sun beds and table and chairs. The beds and such are comfortable, the kitchen has most of what is needed but hot water in the kitchen was not available. The shower over the bath has to be used laid down or crouched over so would not suit a person with mobility issues. Lovely decking area and hot tub. Jane was super friendly and most kind. We wanted a rural location for a girls catch up and this accm delivers exactly that.

We had a lovely weekend. The booking was easy and communication prompt and informative. The check in went smoothly, Pauline introduced herself and showed us around and then left us to it for the rest of the weekend. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The accommodation was spacious but cosy. The garden was private, tidy and calming. The hot tub was clean and well looked after. Loads of information provided on what you could do in the local area. Overall a lovely relaxing weekend, just what we needed. Thank you Pauline.

Wood Cottage is absolutely beautiful. The house is well equipped and perfectly maintained. The setting is extraordinary with beautiful gardens with plenty of privacy and peace. Thanks to Samantha and Andy’s instructions it’s also easy to find, whereas the post code is a little more difficult. Their communication was proactive and timely, but not at all intrusive. The sauna, plunge pool and hot tub are a real treat, although the hot tub is a little temperamental in that we struggled to get some of the jets to work. However, given that is the only room for improvement we could identify on the accommodation, it’s clear that a stay at Wood Cottage comes highly recommended and we hope to return!

This Airbnb was wonderful for our one-night getaway, we loved the peaceful and scenic surroundings (and of course the hot tub!). The garden was lovely and perfect for our dog to have a few games of ball. The inside was very cosy and tidy, we felt right at home. We had a very good nights sleep!

We have just arrived back from a weekend here and it was absolutely fantastic. Child friendly, so clean and tidy, everything felt brand new. The bedrooms are a good size and the upstairs bathroom is lovely. Garden views are wonderful, such a big social space. Sarah was so helpful and responsive, she answered all our questions and there was even chocolates and biscuits on arrival which was lovely! Kitchen very well equipped with everything you might need. Intend to return later in the year.

We needed somewhere peaceful and restful to stay after travelling up to a family funeral-this was perfect. As soon as we arrived it was clear that every little detail had been thought of to make our stay perfect. Comfy beds, fab facilities and the paddock for the dog was amazing! It was so reliving to know that we could let him off to run around and that no harm could come to him. What a wonderful place-we hope to be back for a longer stay soon! Thank you!

The cottage was so comfortable and the outlook was beautiful. It is in a really convenient position for visiting local attractions, whilst being in a peaceful setting. The facilities are more than adequate.

Despite the weather doing its worst, we had a very enjoyable stay at Riverside Cottage. The cottage is a few minutes walk from the famous Ironbridge and a number of very good cafes and restaurants. The cottage was very comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay. Would love to revisit in the future.

5 Star +⭐️⭐️ absolutely stunning dog friendly cottage in the most beautiful, peaceful grounds yet only a short drive from some fabulous attractions and quaint villages, if you can prize yourself away from the cottage and gardens . Attention to detail was second to none, everything you could possibly want and more. The most fabulous dog basket with treats, blankets, towel and lead, dog beds were provided which our dogs loved and the totally enclosed garden was just what we needed wanted for the dogs to be kept safe yet have some freedom. Loved The walks from the cottage through the beautiful gardens and around the lake. The cottage was exceptionally clean with stunning furnishings. The host family have done an amazing job transforming the properties of Peplow Hall, they were on hand for anything we needed or any recommendation’s. We Loved our stay so much we booked our next stay as we were leaving. Can’t wait to return

Great stay at Riverside Cottage. So much so we added another night onto the stay. Would recommend earplugs if you’re a light sleeper and staying in the bedroom facing out onto the main road. Lovely welcome hamper. Spacious living environment and lovely views out over the woods and river Severn.

Super clean easy to find good communication

We loved Alice's place. The horses were a delight to watch and the view was amazing. The bed and linens were comfortable,and there was plenty of space in the house. We were able to walk thru the fields and back for a great meal at the Riverside Inn. Overall a stay I would be happy to repeat.

Beautiful stay at Pheasant Cottage for the last few days. Greeted by friendly hosts and the property and location certainly didn’t disappoint us. A high spec property which had everything required and more. The hot tub was a real treat too. Thank you for making our stay so memorable we will definitely be back. We enjoyed all the local attractions too as a family a real treat.

My husband, son, his 2 sons and I had a lovely mini break in this lovely cottage. We loved the space and it felt very much like home - my grandsons even asked if we would buy it, if we could! The boys loved the large garden & we enjoyed the ‘home from home’ nature of the property, i.e. great facilities - dishwasher, coffee maker, 2 fridges, 2 freezers, washing machine, barbecue, etc. Access to the lovely tennis court & table tennis was a bonus. The location is very rural and scenic - all in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Gill was a perfect host.

This small but perfectly formed house is ideally located in the centre of Ironbridge with all the main sites and museums within walking distance. The house is well designed to maximise space and was spotlessly clean and well equipped. I can thoroughly recommend it. I imagine that, in summer, the private balcony and shared garden would enhance the property even further.

I can't recommend this cottage enough. It is an atmospheric building full of charm and it has been fitted out really well. The appliances are first class (a great microwave! and 2 jacuzzis so no squabbling over who was in first!). I also have to say the complimentaries were quality and very much appreciated. The field next to the cottage is beautiful - a proper old school meadow - with a magnificent beech tree at it's centre. I never got to see the horses, but there's next time - I will be returning here when I am in need of a some more time-out and my batteries recharging. Thank you, Jenny

We only booked on the day and were very pleased with the quick confirmation. Rose Cottage was as described and provided an excellent base for visiting family and a little sightseeing. Mandy was very quick to respond to a question we had, which was very comforting.

We had a fantastic stay at The Privy. The location is absolutely beautiful. it was the perfect escape! The accommodation itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. Jess was a wonderful host and was friendly, welcoming, and very responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway

A really clean and comfortable place to stay. Very convenient if visiting Harper Adams university.

We had a wonderful time at Peplow hall, the cottage we stayed in was beautiful, spacious and there were so many thoughtful touches. The gardens and surrounding area were beautiful for an afternoon walk! We really enjoyed staying here!
