Waterfront holiday rentals in Tasman District

We loved to spend 4 mights in the Kai-pod which oozed of creative and homey atmosphere!!! All we needed was there, the bed, bathroom and kitchen all worked perfectly and the view from our he apartment’s big opening doors and the terrace could not be had any better, wow’ through this lovely place kaiteriteri lived up to its spectacular ree re mutation. Thank you ❤️

We found the Clifftop Retreat cabin suited our needs perfectly and Bob provided an excellent level of communication, service and local tips. He also ensured the pantry and wines were stocked with high quality local products. The accomodation was very good with comfortable bed, terrific functional kitchen and amazing clifftop views of the surrounding bay and local area. The location was perfect for our walking trips up into the Abel Tasman National Park and also fantastic local restaurants and wineries. Bob also organised a pick up from the airport for us as we arrived late at night. Overall a fantastic stay and would certainly recommend Clifftop Retreats very highly.

Great apartment with all the necessities you need, in a very convenient location with great restaurants and cafes in walking distance. My partner and I highly recommend this Air BnB! Hosts were also amazing and easy to deal with, they made our stay very easy and comfortable :)

We were so happy with our accommodation at Vivs place. The home was spacious, modern, with outstanding views. Communication with our host was excellent.

The apartment has a well equipped kitchen and a barbecue. We enjoyed going to the fish market across the street to cook at home. Close proximity to get to Able national Park and wineries.

This place was exactly as it was represented. 2 bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Frozen breads available for breakfast and a selection of teas and coffee. Very clean.

Wow what a beautiful pristine apartment with a view to die for. Did exactly what we wanted it to do. Peaceful and relaxing ticked all the boxes for us. We would not hesitate to recommend. Helen was the perfect host - welcoming and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much

Outstanding views of the water from sunrise to sunset. Jenny was very attentive as our host. The loft was very well equipped to meet all our needs.

Paul’s house and setting matched our expectations from the listing. It was very clean, tidy, spacious, warm and nicely furnished. The lounge, dining and kitchen area looked out across the garden to the beach. Unfortunately it rained for most of our short stay so we didn’t take as much advantage of the outdoor setting and facilities as we might have otherwise done. Despite that our party of 4 adults and 3 children all enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very welcoming and were quick to answer any queries we had.

Coastal Bliss Cottage was absolutely perfect, as was the beautiful setting of the surrounding property. Beatrice has thought of everything to make her guests relaxed and comfortable. The place was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Our yummy breakfasts under the pergola were such a treat and we enjoyed our conversations with Beatrice and Yves, who made us feel most welcome. While the cottage is in a peaceful location, we found it was within easy reach of cafes, restaurants and numerous activities in nearby Mapua and beyond in Motueka and Nelson. We highly recommend this delightful cottage as one of the best AirBnBs we’ve stayed at and would love to return one day.

Ligar Bay is a fantastic spot, the changing tides provide so much diversity and interest - we kayaked, paddle boarded, walked and swam in the bay and at surrounding beaches and tracks. The house itself is very clean, with beautiful outlook and the garden is lovely. Furnishings and linen are very stylish and beds were comfortable. We found the lack of curtains/blinds a little challenging - there’s a skylight without a blind directly above master bed, one bedroom has no blind and the other had sheers, which provide privacy but no light. We love our sleep in holiday! We also missed having a dishwasher - some wouldn’t care. We appreciated all the pantry staples, great indoor and outdoor showers and water toys available for guests to use. A stunning place!

Cathy and I have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs, and Trudy’s is one of the very best! She is supremely helpful and has created a true paradise, from the exquisite garden terrace overlooking Nelson‘s river; to the spacious, tasteful interior; to the stocking of the apartment with everything you’ll need for a great stay. Trudy has overlooked nothing, and has created a fantastic base for exploring the great city of Nelson and beyond — right across from a beautiful city park and museum cafe; within walkable distance to other great coffee shops and restaurants; on the doorstep of the city’s popular river walk; and within easy striking distance of Pelorus Bridge Scenic Reserve and Abel Tasman National Park. And don’t forget the city’s Saturday market, one of the best you’ll see in NZ. Thanks for a wonderful stay Trudy!

fabulous location, so much to do and explore. Hiking along the beach to Collingwood and the Farewell Spit tour were amazing things to do. The home was private and the views of the estuary were always changing and beautiful. It was very windy a few days but it didn't curtail our activities. The home stays warm when sunny and there are a few sand flies that like to bite but again, nothing too annoying! A well equipped kitchen, great comfortable beds, and clean overall made it a very pleasant place to be. We would definitely stay again!

The location of this home is incredible! Beautiful sunsets, close to penguins and a number of stunning beaches and hikes. Check out the baby fur seals, caves, natural spring, waterfalls and abundant bird life. Piwakawakas at every hike! Garry was very accommodating and responsive. Rent with confidence!

Four single Gals - 6 nights. Thoughtful touches to be enjoyed by the whole family, decent coffee & machine, great games & sporty equipment for fun at the beach, heating in every room, high quality appliances, spotless & spacious bathrooms and an amazing soaker bath in main, relaxed & homely yet tasteful furnishings, a world class beach and breathtaking views via the garden. Listen carefully in the pre dawn hours and you'll hear the penquins returning from their ocean feed just metres away. This one is a credit to the owners and housekeepers - they care about their guests comfort. So 'Thankyou !!' - as a fellow Airbnb owner - I understand and appreciate the effort it takes to offer this level of holiday comfort.
