Lovely village house, East Pyrenees

This quaint village house is located high up in the pretty hillside village of Rodes. Rodes rests in the Languedoc Roussillon/Pyrenees-Orientales region of France where Mount Canigou dominates the skyline. A 30 minute drive takes you to Perpignan and the stunning Mediterranean coast. The house has breath taking views of Mount Canigou from the rooftop terrace and can comfortably sleep up to 4 persons. It has a private garage, free WIFI and two bikes available for guests to use. On the ground floor is the walk through garage and a utility area with a washing machine. The two bedrooms are on the first floor. The 2nd floor offers open plan living with a fully equipped kitchen and an area for relaxing and eating. From here you access the sunny outdoor terrace and the mezzanine bathroom. The house and the area are perfect for a relaxing get away from it all holiday. Nearby is a village shop and easy access to the main road between Perpignan and Andorra. The village of Vinca is within walking distance and you can swim, relax and sunbathe on the shores of the crystal clear lake. Maison Mimosa is located in an exceptionally picturesque area ideal for walking and mountain biking as well as a visit to the world reknowned hot springs at Thomas Les Bains. During the winter season, the nearest slopes are just a 45 minute drive away. The 50 euros rate per night is negotiable dependent on number of guests, number if nights booked and the season. Located near a charming little village very sunny, on the road to Andorra, this air-conditioned cottage offers direct access to many hiking trails, while being 1 hour from the high mountain and 1 hour from the sea. For a few days or just one night the farm welcomes you. The lac de vinça is very close. We signal that the access is an unpaved path (800m) with a ford to cross ( the ford is currently dry). Located in Rodés, slightly away from the village. 20 minutes from Perpignan and 10 minutes from Prades, the location is perfect for discovering the many classified sites (Castelnou, Eus, Villefranche...). You will also enjoy Lake Vinça (within a 5-minute walk) for lovers of walks or bike rides. The lake has an inflatable play structure for the children.

Come and spend a relaxing stay in our completely renovated apartment, on the ground floor with a garden and a sheltered dining area! You will enjoy the surrounding calm, and the outside while being 10 minutes from the lake. We thought this apartment for people in driving difficulty in order to enjoy a few days of vacation: shallow sink with space underneath, fitted bathroom, sliding doors (only the front door is in 80 cm)

An amazing gitê, superbly equipped and spotlessly clean. Beautifully furnished, and a great plus having air conditioning. Attention to detail, in everything, is very apparent. The outdoor terraces around the gitê, are just perfect especially with the sales to protect from the sun. The pool area is breathtaking with its amazing views of the countryside & valley. Sophie & Christophe, were very welcoming & made us feel right at home. We very much look forward to returning.

Rafa is hands-down one of the best posts I have experienced. His gracious hospitality was superb – demonstrated in remarkable attention to detail throughout the home, care to ensure everything was perfectly set for a smooth and restful welcome, and proactive local tips to make sure I had what I needed. RAFA was also exceptionally responsive and gave many local recommendations throughout my stay – even setting up some beautiful experiences on my behalf. His home is a unique mountain respite – perfectly demonstrated by the photographs and lovely in every way. Very grateful for the week I spent at LaRocca. 🙏🏽

Lovely characterful apartment, directly off the street but this isn’t an issue, it was quiet in the flat, and parking was easy in parking bays opposite. Balcony was appreciated. Nice artisan bakery nearby too. Only issue was the restaurants in town were closed or refusing to serve at 8:30. Not a major, we found a nice little restaurant in the next village. In all, a very nice apartment, would stay again. Good attentive host too

We had a very enjoyable, relaxing and peaceful week here. The house was really clean and comfortable and we felt very much at home. The terrace in particular was a lovely space to read a book and enjoy our morning coffee. And those views! We definitely recommend a meal or two at La Petite Artois, the food is great and they are very friendly. The location is good for visiting several Cathar castles nearby and the countryside is breathtaking and at this time of year with wildflowers everywhere. Anna was very helpful and easy to contact. We would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting the area. It was a really lovely holiday.

Listing completely as described. It's a really nice place. On the other hand, you have to love being isolated in nature. The car is necessary to move and the road is quite folkloric! Hiking departure from the house and small river at the bottom of the village , fruit trees available in the extensive garden, beautiful outdoor space to eat! The house is beautiful, everything is refurbished and the materials and equipment are premium . The bedding in particular is perfect. In short, nothing to repeat. Julien's welcome is neat and everything is thought out for your comfort. We see that he likes to share his love for this family home.
