Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Tangier-Assilah

My family really enjoyed our stay in this place. The previous reviews that mentioned the traffic noise were accurate, but we adjusted and chose to focus on the location and the beautiful views from the terrace. There was always a prompt response to any questions we had from Youssef. Ahmed was co-host and lived right nearby and was actually the individual who met us and showed us to the location, but we had no communication with him past that brief interaction. No check-ins or proactive communications. The house was clean overall. Pots, utensils, plates, etc. made it easy to cook in the house. Teapot, coffee maker also. This is a 3 level property. Carrying bags to rooms on 2nd / 3rd level could be a bit much for older individuals. The top level room only has a sheer curtain to separate the bedroom from a seating area and door to attached balcony. I mention this because others have to pass this area if on the way up the nearby steps to get to terrace, so privacy could be a concern.

La maison est encore plus belle que sur les photos. Elle est située au cœur de la médina d’Assilah, et offre en prime une superbe vue sur la médina et l’océan. Nous la recommandons fortement et nous y reviendrons. Merci !

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable, la maison est en plein cœur de la médina. Très belle maison, avec son toit terrasse et le patio ouvert sur le ciel La literie est très confortable Le ménage parfait, très propre. Abe est très gentil et accueillant Nous reviendrons avec plaisir

Tous les commentaires positifs sur cette location sont avérés, le mien se rajoute à celui des autres voyageurs. Toutefois, j'apporterais quand même des nuances par rapport aux éléments suivants : - l'accueil se fait par quelqu'un avec lequel on n'a jamais échangé, on ne sait pas à qui on a à faire (ce n'est ni Christine, ni Jean-Pierre ni Youssef) - le taxi qui nous a pris en charge à l'aéroport comme convenu, nous a finalement fait payer 300 dirhams au lieu des 200 annoncés - pas de livret d'accueil dans la maison - propreté moyenne en bas dans la chambre du patio et la salle de bain : poils dans le lavabo, cheveux, balayette des toilettes pas nette, poussière ne datant pas d'hier sur les tableaux, lampe de chevet, au sol. Couverture dans l'armoire tâchée. Dommage de payer du ménage pour ne pas entrer dans une maison un peu plus propre, quand le chat n'est pas là les souris dansent... et je n'en veux pas aux propriétaires - des lumières qui éclairent en terrasse serait un vrai plus

This is a beautiful place in the middle of town. The address listed is incorrect so you must make sure to verify where you are meeting at. Mohammed is a fantastic and kind host. I recommend this place.

We had an excellent stay at Abdslam’s place! The apartment is spacious, clean, well-equipped, and perfectly located in the charming streets of the medina. The rooftop terrace with sea views is a real highlight, especially at sunset. Abdslam is an exceptional host—warm, welcoming, and very thoughtful. He kindly offered us a delicious couscous on the day of Eid, which was a lovely gesture. Communication with him was smooth and pleasant throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place and will definitely come back again inchallah.

Soooo authentic, best view from terrace , so atmospheric, 3 nice rooms with beds for two, perfectly fit up to 6 persons, 4 floors and terrace, nice kitchen with everything what you want and pretty comfortable living room 10/10

Stayed with a group of three friends for two nights. Rita was very responsive and gave clear instructions. The apartment was spacious enough to accomodate even a larger group. The location is very nice. It’s close to the beach with lots of shops and restaurants is the area. Having access to a parking spot in the garage of the building was absolutely fabulous, since street parking can be challenging. Rita’s place is definitely a recommended appartment. I will consider staying here again without giving it a second thought.

Die Wohnung hat uns mit ihrer großen Terrasse mit tollem Blick über den Hafen begeistert. Es ist alles vorhanden was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt. Die Lage der Wohnung hat ebenfalls überzeugt. Das Viertel ist sehr belebt, viele Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Bei Problemen hat Fatima immer sehr schnell reagiert und eine Lösung gefunden. Danke für die schöne Zeit!

Excellent séjour, Abdellah est un excellent hôte qui a toujours été très réactif a nos demandes et questions. Je conseille les yeux fermés!

This apartment is a gem -- we loved watching the birds fly over the panoramic views of the medina and the kasbah, the rooftop terrace, and the gorgeous architecture and artistic touches in the apartment The hosts are two brothers who were incredibly welcoming and so proud to share about the local gems in Tangier. They texted us tons of local recommendations, and the ones we checked out were excellent. When we come back to Tangier, we look forward to staying here again. Highly recommend!

Le logement de Houssam était vraiment à la hauteur de ce qui nous a été proposé sur tous les plans…. Propreté et. Beauté impeccable de l’appartement exactement comme c’était proposé sur les photos. Houssam nous a proposé son aide pour tout ce dont nous pouvions avoir besoin dés le début de notre séjour et était disponible à tout moment …gentillesse, professionnalisme et hospitalité de Houssam nous ont rassuré durant notre séjour.. Brahim es un excelente anfitrión, muy hospitalario y responde muy rápido. El apartamento es bonito, cómodo, y muy buen equipado. Brahim piensa en todo. Además está muy bien ubicado, cerca de mucho restaurantes y cafés.

C’était ma première visite à Assilah, et j’ai eu un vrai coup de cœur ! La ville est paisible et pleine de charme. Nous avons passé un excellent week-end. L’appartement est magnifique, propre, bien équipé et très confortable. La résidence est superbe, calme, sécurisée, avec une ambiance familiale très agréable. Même si l’appartement n’est pas proche de la plage, il y a plusieurs piscines très propres, ce qui compense largement. Un cadre idéal pour se détendre. Je recommande vivement ce logement, et je reviendrai avec plaisir

J’ai eu le plaisir de séjourner dans ce très bel appartement, propre, bien entretenu et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Tout y est parfaitement pensé pour offrir confort et commodité : il ne manquait absolument rien, tout est disponible pour se sentir comme chez soi. L’appartement est idéalement situé dans un quartier calme et sécurisé, au sein d’un immeuble bien surveillé. J’ai particulièrement apprécié la magnifique terrasse où l’on peut passer d’agréables moments en famille ou savourer un bon café au petit matin. La localisation est un vrai atout : tout est accessible à pied — supérettes, centre commercial, gare, corniche, boutiques, restaurants... c’est un excellent point de départ pour profiter pleinement de la ville. Un grand merci à Youssef pour son accueil chaleureux, sa disponibilité constante et ses conseils toujours pertinents. Son suivi tout au long du séjour a été très apprécié. Un magnifique séjour que je n’oublierai pas et que je referai sans hésitation !

Abdelilah is the kind of host who makes Airbnb special! He warmly welcomed me, showed me around the studio (clean, cozy, and perfect for solo travelers), and even took time to introduce me to the neighborhood. His generosity shone when he invited me to a local restaurant dinner—a highlight of my trip! The studio had everything I needed, and Abdelilah’s hospitality made Tangier feel like home. The stay was very good. The apartment was spacious and was generally kept clean. Communication with the host was very good. There was a slight issue with the water but the host reacted immediately when we messaged them and they had it fixed very quickly, with a nice apology and saying it was the first time this has happened. The apartment included everything as in the description. The only small minus was the fact one of the rooms with the two single beds wasn’t cleaned that well in the corners, there were some cobwebs and dust. But the bedsheets were clean and generally the place was rather clean. I also wish there was a fresh sponge in the kitchen for cleaning dishes and that there would be something other than bleach for the laundry. But these are small things. Generally speaking I can highly recommend this place, it was a good price with a fantastic location, very spacious and with two bathrooms. The wifi worked well, the building has a guard and elevators. Great stay!
